The Boato Hotel

Nice getaway

The hotel was exceptionally tranquil. I had the most relaxing sleep in years during the 2 nights that I stayed there.

Nothing. A word of warning, the drive up to the hotel gets really bad and recommend using a 4X4 SUV. However the hotel itself was impeccable.

Bumpy road to get there, reception area not 5star, staff ok but not overly friendly, hot tub head rest broken, body cream dispenser broken, sink not new, draws in kitchen not close properly, did not feel 5 star, breakfast ok not plentiful

The location on the lake was beautiful. We liked the solitude. The firepit for our cabin alone was really enjoyable. The staff were very kind and accommodating The bed was comfortable. The cabin was very quaint. The price was affordable but we would prefer to spend more for a better maintained and equipped cabin. We enjoyed kayaking.

- Way too hot. There was no air and the cabin was unbearably hot in the afternoon. It was cooler on the deck but the chairs were not comfortable. - We thought there was a coffee maker but there wasn't. We asked for one and they brought a press in the evening, but we weren't able to heat water because there wasn't a way to start the gas stove. We asked for a lighter or matches but they came a little late the next day. - The front door didn't lock because the latch was broken (fortunately we felt safe), - The drawer in the kitchen fell off the railings and we weren't able to get it back on. - The road to the cabin was very muddy and difficult to walk.
