Stunning view, absolute fair deal, would go back anytime.

Everything was great overall! Having a car is definitely a must. The villa (actually two villas) was spacious and easily accommodated our group. We really appreciated being able to have a very late checkout for a reasonable price. The view is absolutely stunning! Some facilities could use a bit of maintenance, but that only affected comfort slightly, not usability. We’d happily stay again

Some facilities could use a bit of maintenance. We didn’t know that we had to request pool heating in advance — we could have used that information, although the weather was nice enough to use the pool anyway. Also, quite a few dishes were put back into the cupboards unwashed, with some dried food residues on them — not a big thing, just a small annoyance.

We had an amazing stay at this villa in Crete! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the coast with stunning sea views that we enjoyed every day. The villa is spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, which made it very comfortable for our group. The amenities are fantastic – a well-equipped gym, a relaxing sauna, and a beautiful private pool that we used daily. There’s also a brand new, top-quality BBQ grill and a variety of outdoor furniture and charming garden corners, perfect for relaxing or enjoying meals outside. The villa is ideal for a large family or a group of friends – there's enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. A special thank you to Emmanouil, the host, who was incredibly kind and responsive. He helped with every question or request and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended – we would love to come back!

Stunning views & quiet location

Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Even met us late at night on arrival after flight delays which was much appreciated after a very long day.

No outdoor furniture on balconies or by the pool area for dining. It’s was such a stunning setting and a shame we couldn’t enjoy alfresco dining.

A week in Villa Dyktinna

The villa has amazing view, 2 living rooms, 2 showers with toilates and an extra toilete. Nice private pool and sitting area outside. One bedroom with seaview and the rest with access to the balcony. The villa has plenty of natural light. Also we had enough space to park 2 cars. The kitchen is well equiped only misses a microwave. Our host Georgos was very kind and helpful.

Our main issue was hot water in the showers as it depends on sun light what we lacked during cloudy days. On arriving check toilete paper and tablets for the dishwasher to make sure there is enough for the entire stay. The villa is a duplex with the owners living next door, however it didnt bother us at all. The villa is accessable only by car due to its location.

Clean. Lovely sea views. Gorgios our go to man!

Neighbour who was attached to the property (hadn’t realised when we booked). Difficult to park. Too remote to walk to any beaches or Tavernas/ bars. Building work going on above our heads as they were renovating next door.

The villa was very beautiful and had an amazing view! Our contact was very helpful and was always available.

Toilet paper, dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent were very scarce.. we were five adults with five toilet rolls… after we asked for it we got more but it felt like being kept short on the basic things..

extraordinary, I would love to return to the villa again with my family next year

The Villa is huge, even when we had more families and friends with us, each one had its' own space and privacy. There are many different chill areas, and the Villa is pretty much isolated so there aren't next door guests. The view is to die for. All you see is the blue sea and the city of Heraklion in the distance. Crazy sunrises every morning. A perfect large swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen (We were travelling with kids and cooked every day). There's also a new equipped BBQ stand, a dishwasher, washing machine and pretty much everything you need. Besides all mentioned above, Giorgos, our contact, was extremely helpful, available for us with whatever we needed - from getting us a new BBQ, charging the internet, or recommending travel sites and restaurants. He is extremely devoted to the guests.

I didn't like the pillows, I now it sounds funny, but they were all too soft which made it hard for me to sleep. Simply bring your own pillow (a general travel tip). The water stream in the showers could be stronger, and the TVs didn't work. I understood that all satellite dishes were damaged by a storm, but it was difficult for a 4 years old to understand. We did manage with our laptop though. Another thing to keep in mind - the villa is accessible only by car, so you cannot take a walk / jogging without driving outside the area.
