We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Manolis and Despina were extremely hospitable and generous hosts, making us feel instantly welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was being treated to a delicious traditional Greek lunch lovingly prepared by Manolis’ mother and mother-in-law - a truly special and authentic experience. The villa itself was immaculate - spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. In fact, the photos simply do not do it justice. Every room was tastefully decorated, and the hosts had clearly thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. We were greeted with a generous welcome hamper, and the villa was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Located in the quiet town of Perama, the villa offers peace and relaxation. While the town is quite tranquil and a rental car would be ideal for getting around, we opted to use local taxi services to reach nearby Rethymno, and they proved to be very reliable. It’s worth noting that while the local shops are within walking distance, the path involves a steep descent which may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Overall, this villa provided the perfect combination of comfort, charm, and genuine Cretan hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

I have no words to explain how amazing our stay was. Despina & Manolis are superb hosts. Not only they welcomed us making us feel at home from the beginning, but they went out of their ways to make our stay memorable. Just to mention some things: they found a lady to come iron our clothes immediately, came to the house at 11pm to bring medicines for my friend, offered us lunch, gave me flowers & cake for my birthday, asked the neighbor to stop construction work for a week not to bother us. The property is absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. As a digital nomad, I’ve stayed in multiple Airbnbs, villas and hotels around the world and this is one of the best (if not the best). You won’t ever regret booking this place ♥️

Nothing to say really. If I had to suggest something to make it better: - add the possibility to heat the pool - be able to get in contact with the amazing hosts earlier (the agency is kind of weird to talk to, they answered only with what seemed AI generated messages)
