Just a few blocks from the Colorado River, this townhouse is close to downtown but in a quiet enough neighborhood that you'll feel far from the hustle and bustle. The full kitchen is perfect for cooking up full meals to enjoy at the end of a long day of exploring. The walled-in private patio is perfect for dinners or just enjoying a book and a glass of wine.

Central Austin has its own unique character, even though downtown is only three-and-a-half miles away. Enjoy a cupcake at Mozart's Coffee Roasters or pick up some Buffalo Cauliflower Wings at the Beer Plant, both within one mile of the townhouse. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore Lady Bird Lake three-and-a-half miles out, or have a jog around Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (which runs up and down the river). Of course, you have to take a picture with the Greeting From Austin Mural before you leave - it's just five miles out, and you'll be able to explore the Bouldin Creek neighborhood!

Stayed here several times. Home still needs upates/deep clean.
Cold AC ! Comfy, quiet and in a neighborhood with multimillion dollar homes! FYI - note you will be parking on a downhill street. Keep that emergency parking break on! RECOMMEND.

Me & hubby have stayed here multiple times. Cozy place that still needs a deep cleaning (bdrm carpet) etc. I still wish there was a guestbook for troubleshooting and checkout instructions. The dishwasher wouldn’t work, so of course I reported instantly. Could not find where it plugs in.This duplex sits on a steep hill, which is your parking area (on the street), so if your gas tank isn’t completely full, it will show empty! So FYI. Multi million dollar homes all around this area by these dated duplexes. Good neighborhood. Would still recommend!!

The upscale neighborhood gives this house a charm boost. But it needs some TLC inside and out. If you’re looking for a quiet location in Austin, this is the spot!
