About this house rental

Private entrance to bedroom with it’s own bath, large back deck with view of lake Austin and lake Travis dam area. Close to parks, restaurants ( will need transportation) , wedding venue’s, wineries and breweries. Small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot provided.
NO SMOKING! Please be aware we have stairs to the entrance and a deck with many different levels, we want our guest to not only be comfortable but safe also. If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you, thank you.

Beautiful home with a separate guest space that has all the features of a nice hotel room without the hotel feel! Has a wonderful extra deep soaking tub. Hosts are readily available and very welcoming. It has breathtaking views of Lake Austin and the Mansfield Dam! Definitely a place we would stay again.

I attended a weeklong seminar in the area, and this property suited my needs perfectly. It’s similar to a queen-bed hotel room with a small refrigerator and microwave. The view of the river and valley from the deck, available to guests, is very pretty. I spoke briefly with Gary who was very friendly and who made it clear that should I need anything, particularly given the length of my stay, I should ask. If I am in the area again, as I may be next year for the same seminar, I will seek to stay there again.

Everything was just right. Nice, quiet location yet close to stores, gas, and restaurants. Comfortable room and bed, plenty of water and coffee, nice hot water and water pressure in the shower, and even a great view. Would highly recommend!

It was an amazing time and very comfortable stay. The hosts are absolutely lovely and the room had everything we needed. The views were fantastic and so quiet. We had a squirrel 🐿 join us early in the morning. Everything we needed was very close and we feel pretty confident we will try to come back.

After a very long day I arrived the place was just like it looked in the pictures beautiful view nice big porch. I met the hosts on the back porch where they themselves were relaxing. They were very nice and had no problem with me having Amazon deliver the host even brought it to my door. I would very definitely stay there again.

This place is perfect for a single person to couple. It's everything you need when your out exploring the Austin/Lake Travis area. The Hosts are extremely kind and accommodating. The house is gorgeous with a very nice overlook of the Dam and Jessica Holts park. I highly reccomend this place!

I was attending an event on Lake Austin, near Mansfield Dam and happened upon this place. The property is just a bedroom and bath adjacent to a main house, and is quite comfortable with a good bed, very clean, etc. But what makes the place special is the deck outside with a view over the dam in one direction and Lake Austin in the other. It was a grey cool evening when we were there, but if there hadn't been cloud cover, it would have been a great place to see the meteor shower. There were plenty of places to eat in Lakeway, and it wasn't far from Austin down RR 2222.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this location. The environment, both indoor and outdoor, was very inviting and clean. Our host was just a text message away and provided excellent necessities for a 5 star stay (we forgot to bring extra water but they had us covered). A bonus was the sunrise that can be seen from their amazing patio. We look forward to booking again!

This vacation rental as perfect. You can tell when you rent from people versus a faceless corporation. Gary and Kelly made their place welcoming and inviting. It felt like being in a home versus a hotel from the decorations to amenities provided. My wife and I get to meet Gary and Kelly and they are also wonderful people. They were very welcoming and recommended some places in the area to visit and grab a bite to eat. Their home had a spectacular view near Lake Travis. Our stay was very peaceful since it was very quiet. They also have a great deck to sit out and enjoy coffee in the morning. We highly recommend this place if you are in the Austin area.

Lovely suite, very comfortable with a wonderful deck & wildlife. Thoughtful extras (snacks, coffee, bottled water, paper plates & plastic utensils) made us feel welcomed in our home away from home. Exceptionally clean and inviting - we would stay again!
