Batwo Stay - For foreigners only

It's a really cute place, and the location of the place is super super awesome right in Hongdae. Inside, it is super clean and really quite cozy. The bedrooms are great with comfy bunk beds, and the bathrooms are just fine. The room was very cold with the AC (this is great!).

I wish that there were individual lights on the beds themselves. It got a bit tough because we just had the overhead light, and people kept coming in and turning it on late at night.

Wonderful stay. You can make yourself bacon and eggs with coffee each morning. I do recommend highly.

Really nice location. Everything was clean and the host is very nice!

The only positives are the great location and that it is a very social hostel where you can meet other travelers.

We booked a room with three beds, but it turned out to be in the basement, which we didn’t know when booking. The basement rooms have no windows, which makes them feel closed in and uncomfortable. It was also very humid, so we had to keep the dehumidifier and AC running all the time — both are quite loud and made it hard to sleep. The ceilings are very low; at 172 cm I could touch them. Probably the upstairs rooms are better. We stayed for three nights and never saw any staff, so if you need help there is no one around. The breakfast is not worth it — you have to make it yourself in the kitchen, and the options are very limited.
