A very comfortable place to enjoy a break, highly recommend The Motor House for a relaxing stay.

Quiet rural location, flat/ apartment independent of main house over large private classic car garage area set in its own grounds. Balcony off main living space with fabulous views, well equipped for self catering and tastefully fitted out with large spacious rooms. Owners were welcoming and helpful. We had a very pleasant few days, thank you.

A great place to slow down and breathe.

The property is self-contained, away from the main house which is a B&B. The facilities were great, cleanliness exceptional, and the view from the balcony off the main room was breathtaking. I could have spent the whole time out there.

2 points - a little difficult to find as the postcode leaves you on the side of a field but with still 3/4 mile to drive. There was confusion with Booking.com as we wanted and thought we had booked 2 adults using 2 rooms but the booking was made as 2 adults in 1 room.

Peaceful

Lovely peaceful location, far away from main roads. The owners were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The property was clean and comfy, and large bed was fabulous. The balcony was a fantastic addition for dog owners, as our dog loves to be outside. She could sit out on the balcony and I didn't have to worry about her running off or chasing the wildlife. The kitchen was well equip and easy to cook in. The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. There were walks from the doorstep. A really lovely stay in the countryside. We have already been recommending this property to family and friends, especially dog owners who are looking for a property with an enclosed area for the dog.

A fan and parasol for use on the balcony would have been nice. The balcony is where we spent most of our time so comfier furniture would have been good.

Perfect, peaceful, welcoming and really good value for money

The perfect location of rural and peaceful, a little bit of heaven on earth! The hosts were very welcoming and met us on arrival, showing us around the property, we were left to our own devices but they were only a phone call away if we needed them day or night. The Motor House was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable with all the facilities we would find at home. The exception was the beautiful and awesome views from the balcony and the king size bed with beautiful linen. The shower was lovely and hot with soft towels and plenty of pampering products. The kitchen was well equipped from crockery to pots and pans. Parking was right outside our front door with us feeling safe that their was so much security on the premises

Beautiful

Loved everything, the location was nice and peaceful. Beautiful gardens and balcony that we used daily. Everything you need , on arrival we were greeted by the owner who showed us round the property and explained everything we needed to know. A lovely touch was the bottle of wine, bread sticks and bottle of milk left for us

Location is lovely - peaceful and rural. Access by narrow lanes which can be tricky, but understandable given the setting. Loads of parking on site and lots of footpaths to explore. Friendly host. Very well fitted out and dog-friendly.

Internal stairs a bit difficult for dogs though beautifully designed.

We loved it so much, we didn't want to leave.

It was self catering. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, they'd put milk in the fridge, a jar of biscuits, tea bags and coffee as a courtesy. The views were beautiful, we had our own balcony, it was quiet, secluded and loads of footpaths, the owner let me join her on a walk with her dog over the fields. Her husband showed us his classic car collection. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was really comfortable. It was lovely and warm. Loads of room to park. Great shower. All furniture and fittings were exceptional quality. We actually looked forward to snuggling up back at the apartment after a day out. We enjoyed walking around the grounds of the big house. Gorgeous pub just 2 miles down the road.

The only thing we would have liked was a 2 seater sofa opposite the television, there was just an armchair. The sofa was in the space not facing the television.

Idyllic views from peaceful, comfortable property

Spent a really enjoyable week in this beautiful and utterly unique property. It is peaceful, comfortable, dog-friendly and perfectly located for exploring the Herefordshire countryside. Eating breakfast in the sunshine on the balcony is just a lovely experience. Inge and Malcolm are very friendly and helpful hosts.

Exceptional

A quiet place located in the heart of the countryside. Our hosts were wonderful and made us (and our dog) very welcome. The accommodation is exceptional, spotlessly clean and supplied everything we needed. Having our breakfast and dinner on the balcony with beautiful views of the countryside was a lovely treat. We highly recommend the Motor House and would definitely stay here again if we come back to this area.

A hidden gem

Situated in a quiet and stunning position. Our only regret was that the weather wasn’t good enough for us to sit on the patio and take in the view. Everything you could possibly need was provided and all spotlessly clean.
