The Waiting Room, Stoke Edith Station, Tarrington

The property was clean and up to an excellent standard. It had everything you'd need for your stay i.e cooking equipment, clean bedding and enough towels even down to detergents for the washing machine and dishwasher. The welcoming pack went above and beyond ensuring you had a snack for when you arrive and even enough for breakfast the following morning had you not brought anything. My 11yr old son and his friend absolutely loved waiting for the warning signal for the trains and dashed back to the back fence to wave to the trains, to which the train drivers tooted their horns and waved back. It really was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. My only regret is that we couldn't have booked and stayed for longer, that was due to our work commitments though and not reflected on the property owners at all. We shall definitely be looking to book again but for longer next time.

If you haven't got access to a vehicle, it seemed quite far from shops etc. Although, not knowing the area, there could be places we did not know about.

Great location, very clean and modern. Easy to access and no parking hassles.

Beautiful,quiet, comfortable holiday home. Fabulous recreation of the station. We had a great week exploring beautiful nearby towns and countryside
