A very comfortable stay in well appointed accommodation, with a helpful host.

It was an excellent location in the heart of the village. The weather outside was cold and a bit icy but it was very cosy inside. It was comfortable and spacious. I arrived a couple of hours early and Kerry, knowing my arrival time, contacted me to say the flat was ready to go into.

There was sufficient cutlery and crockery for 4 place settings but only two dining chairs around the kitchen table. I travelled up with two friends, who stayed elsewhere. We shared a meal in 'my' property one evening and one of us had to sit at the table, on the window ledge! I understand wanting to dissuade guests from having parties or large gatherings, but an extra two dining chairs for the kitchen table would be helpful. It would have been nice to be able to offer low key hospitality, with a dining chair to sit on.

Perfect apartment.

Everything. This was our third stay here. It’s a perfect stopover, which has all the facilities you need for a restful evening after a long day driving. Lovely bed, great shower, everything you need in the kitchen. We’ll be back, I hope.

A home away from home

In the centre of Dalston, everything within walking distance. The apartment was truly a home away from home, from salt and pepper shakers, spices in the cupboards, so you didn’t need to run out for any essentials. We met the owner and they were really helpful. The apartments were a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

A lovely flat, beautifully clean with a lovely helpful host.

Only issue was some traffic noise from quite a busy road outside. Offset by perfect location, all shops within very short walk, pub and chippy opposite. All good 😁

Excellent ! Quiet and just perfect !

Excellent bigger than expected quiet and lovely !! 10 min walk to the train station easy access to Carlisle platform 2 and is only 8 mins platform 2 on way home was only £3:40 return ! There’s a coop which stocks everything in the village and the pub is nice across the road ! Loved it would definitely be back

A smashing bright and airy appartment in a divine village.

It was bright, spacious, modern and clean. The shower was huge and the kitchen was really well equipped.

Recommended

A warm, very clean apartment with a good shower and good sized rooms. There is a smart TV so we could log in to our Netflix account in the cosy sitting area. Pub over the road has closed down (March 2025) and the chippy is closed on Sunday evening but there’s a pub with restaurant 20 mins walk away (Bridge Inn) and a well stocked Co-op a few minutes walk away.

Bed was a bit on the lumpy side but I still slept well. Be aware that there’s no freezer, only a fridge that doesn’t have an ice box.
