Wonderful countryside space and excellent host

Cute loft space. So quiet until the cockerels start calling. It is an amazing countryside stay. The garden setup for outside eating and relaxing. Space for some garden games. It’s a great space. Owner was around if needed. Even went the extra mile to provide an extra put up bed for our child rather than having to deal with the sofa bed each night.

The location was good. The garden was lovely in the spring. Communication with the host was quick and clear!

The apartment was OK and adequate size but quite dusty when we were there. Sofa bed wasn't comfortable . In fact, it barely had any life to it left.... It's literally falling apart from the inside. ... Very steep stairs to the air as well The main minus point was the sliding door to the bathroom! There is no privacy at all. The gap between the door and the wall is at least 2 cm. Never understand the fashion of sliding doors...

Calme, confort et accueil chaleureux

J’avais prévu une journée entre amis au Yacht Club de Péronnes. On s’est vraiment bien amusés, et j’avais tout en tête : soleil, eau, vent, un petit verre… Mmm, pas question de reprendre la route (+100 km) pour rentrer à la maison. Après quelques recherches, je suis tombé sur “Le Cocon qui rit”. Réservé via booking.com, et immédiatement j’ai reçu un numéro de téléphone. Un petit appel, et là, une voix des plus sympathiques au bout du fil : Christophe, l’hôte. Il m’a confirmé que je pouvais arriver à n’importe quelle heure, et que garer ma Harley sur mon propre parking privé ne poserait aucun problème. En effet, après une journée pleine de soleil, d’eau et de vent, à 20h j’étais épuisé et je me suis dirigé vers le studio. Et là, quelle surprise ! Une cuisine entièrement équipée, un super frigo-congélateur Smeg, du café à disposition… Petit détail sympa : une télévision (pas énorme mais tout à fait suffisante) avec Chromecast. J’ai donc pu regarder mes propres programmes. Top ! La salle de bain est très soignée, une grande douche, machine à laver, serviettes, tout impeccable. Mais le plus important : j’étais venu pour dormir… et le lit, avec son oreiller, était tout simplement parfait. La chambre est spacieuse, propre, joliment finie, avec de beaux éclairages encastrés. Rien à redire. Le lendemain matin, je me sentais tellement à l’aise que j’ai profité de la chambre, du calme et de l’environnement jusqu’à la dernière minute. J’avais presque du mal à partir. Seul bémol (si on peut dire) : l’accès n’est pas des plus simples. À un moment, j’avais l’impression de rouler sur Paris-Roubaix… et avec une Harley, ce n’est pas l’idéal. Heureusement que je n’ai pas de dentier, sinon il aurait fini par terre ! Mais franchement, ne vous laissez pas décourager : ce petit tronçon pavé rend sûrement l’endroit encore plus authentique. Pour moi, c’est un vrai 10 sur 10, surtout pour le prix payé. Tout simplement exceptionnel.

Rien du tout. Ah oui, le wifi fonctionne parfaitement et à une vitesse incroyable… mais je n’ai encore jamais vu un mot de passe aussi interminable nulle part ailleurs dans le monde. L’endroit est tellement tranquille et isolé qu’un code plus simple suffirait largement… mais bon, je chipote !

Petit coin cosy au porte de la Belgique

Le logement est très sympa, pratique et bien organisé. Côté cuisine avec table et canapé convertible très agréable. Côté chambre et salle de bain, des espace pratique et bien agencé.

Le matelas du convertible est un peu fin.
