The walls are not soundproof. We came to rest, the ladies in the apartment next door finished a small party after midnight

More than perfect!

I have no words to express how much this accommodation exceeded our expectations. Our room was exceptional, with total privacy, every detail minimally planned so that everything was perfect. All utensils and appliances are top quality, as well as the high quality towels and sheets. The shower, the bathroom, the indirect lights, the little table outside... everything was perfect. Finally, the breakfast, which is served directly in the room, inside a basket, with all the delicious, fresh, well-made and well-thought-out things. Varied breakfast, well served, plentiful and tasty. Without a doubt, I will be back many times!

Simply superb.

The apartment is exceptional. Beautifully designed and superbly equipped. An excellent bed and a great bathroom. Clara is a warm and welcoming host who gave us lots of tips about our trip into Antwerp and also provides a comprehensive info pack thoughtfully translated into different languages. The breakfast which arrives at the door at a time to suit , in a hamper, is fantastic with fresh fruit, fresh juice and tasty cooked food. Antwerp is amazing. We have barely scratched the surface so we plan to return. If you love architecture there is lots to see. Clara's place provides a great stay within a few minutes of the station for a short journey into the centre. Very useful to have off road parking for our car.

excellent breakfast with fresh products, comfortable bed, completely equipped room and bathroom with all possible amenities you can think off.

some stress, late arrival and found a closed gate and no one available. after different trials using different means of communication , finally trespassed through their beech hague.

The room is spatious and impressive. A cosy location with a very high cieling and a gallery, that offers a buthtub. Amazing idea! A lot of wooden furniture and the breakfast has been very tasty and healthy. Specially the selfmade Yoghurt and Granola. All perfect I would say.

little peace of heaven, hidden gem.

These brand new rooms are large and spacious, and built with an incredible eye for detail. Everything you could possibly need is available (coffee, towels, soaps, etc). It's a little secret place to heaven, yet it's so easily accessible both by car and train. You could literally hop out of bed and be cleaned and in the center of Antwerp within 30 minutes. But you won't, because the breakfast is amazingly good, which means you'll want to enjoy that on your little peace of heaven, inside, or outside in your own small private garden.

It was all amazing. I really don't see what negative i could say. The size and quality of the breakfast is bad for my diet, but that is more positive than anything else. Little peace of heaven this place.

Heerlijk verblijf op strategische plek nabij Antwerpen.

De locatie is uitstekend. Op ca. 5 minuten van het treinstation. Met de trein ben je in ca. een kwartier op het CS van Antwerpen. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. Het wordt op de kamer gebracht en biedt voldoende variatie voor een ieder.

De verwarming m.b.v. een airco heeft nadelen als het koud is. Het duurt vrij lang voordat het beneden opgewarmd is. Doordat de kamer erg hoog is, is het op de entresol wel snel heerlijk warm.

Een goed verzorgde B&B met veel privacy en rust

Wij hebben drie nachten gelogeerd in de "Hoeve Matthyssen" kamer. De kamer is ruim, omdat je ook nog een verdiep hebt met 2 1-persoonsbedden. Omdat je alleen in de mooi omgebouwde stal verblijft, is het zeer rustig. Je hebt een eigen afgesloten tuintje, waarin je bij droog weer lekker kunt zitten. De badkamer is ook erg ruim met een goede douche. Er is een flinke koelkast, met vriezer, waar je eigen spullen in kan doen, maar ook wijn, bier, of frisdrank van de eigenaars (tegen kleine betaling) kan gebruiken. Het ontbijt wordt op een afgesproken tijdstip en is best uitgebreid. Koffie en thee zet je zelf, maar is aanwezig.

Un B & B qui vaut un hôtel 5 étoiles !

Clara et Gert sont des hôtes très accueillants et flexibles ! J'ai passé 5 nuits chez eux et je ne trouve rien à redire. Et en plus d'une chambre luxueuse avec entrée indépendante, le jardin est vert ressourçant, on oublie qu'on est en ville ! Place de parking gratuite prévue. Pas loin de l'autoroute. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, le petit-déjeuner est digne d'un 5 étoiles ! Je me suis régalée : énorme jus d'orange frais, œuf à la coque, pain frais, croissant, confitures maison, fromages, charcuterie ... plus qu'assez ! Boissons dans le frigidaire ! Machine à café et capsules ! (ou thé) . Aucun aspect négatif !

J'ai du mal à trouver un commentaire négatif : c'était parfait ! S'il faut vraiment mentionner un point moins positif (donc pas vraiment négatif et à ne pas imputer aux hôtes) : le parking est un peu exigu si d'autres locataires ne se garent pas convenablement ... mais il y a de la place dans la rue adjacente.

Het is een heel mooi verblijf dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Hele prettige gastvrouw en gastheer. We mochten het verblijf al ruim voor de inchecktijd betreden. En het ontbijt was heerlijk. Er was echt niks meer te wensen. Het was superschoon en erg mooi en gezellig ingericht. Echt de moeite waard.

Logement très bien aménagé avec goût, confort et efficacité. De l'espace et une belle salle de bain ainsi qu'un coin repas bien équipé de petit électro et frigo. Ein Aufenthalt bei B&B Sint-Mariaburg ist absolut zu empfehlen. Besser gehts nicht!

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt. Die Unterbringung für vier Personen war sehr gemütlich, ruhig, modern und äußerst komfortabel. Jeden Morgen wurde pünktlich auf die Minute, wie vereinbart, das bombastische und sehr gesunde Frühstück in zwei Körben gebracht. Es beinhaltete, angefangen von selbst hergestellten Marmeladen, Obstsalat, Joghurt und gekühltem selbstgepresstem Orangensaft, bis hin zu verschiedenen Käsesorten (Schnittkäse, Camenbert, Weichkäse) Salami, Schinken, zwei frischen knusprigen Brotsorten und Croissants, alles, was das Herz begehrte. Wir haben unser Auto sicher im Innenhof kostenfrei parken können und bis zur Abreise nicht bewegt. Der Regionalverkehr ist von der Unterkunft fußläufig in weniger als fünf Minuten zu erreichen und war während unseres Aufenthaltes immer pünktlich. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit erreicht man Antwerpen Centraal, dem Ausgangspunkt für Exkursionen durch die Stadt. Gelungener kann ein fünftägiger Städtetrip nicht sein. Wir vergeben fünf Sterne *****.

Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen. Es war eine perfekte Städtereise in lockerer Athmosphäre!
