Ideal location to see the centre of Tours. On the main boulevard which is a wide street with wide walkways and lanes for cars and trams. Only about 10 minutes walk to the old town and cathedral. On the second floor but has a lift. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious open plan sitting/dining area and 2 bedrooms.
There is nowhere to park in the busy street to offload luggage, so we had to carry everything from the secure car park, which is around the corner. It is a basement car park and the allotted space is 3 floors down. There is a lift, but there are lots of narrow corridors and heavily sprung doors to negotiate. We collected keys from a shop about half a mile away on the same busy road, but there was nowhere to park other than on a pavement in a side street.

Perfect location, spacious apartment, cafe located right at the enterance of the building. Private parking and very close to the train station too.

This centrally located apartment ticks all the boxes. Location was perfect for walking everywhere, there is an Intermarche supermarket located around the corner, the train station is a short walk away as is Rue Nationale and access to all the shops, buses, trams and the river.
The apartment is extremely well fitted out to interior design standard and there was everything and more than we expected to find in the kitchen, living room area and bedrooms. Easy communication with the host who was very helpful. As all the shops are closed in Tours on Sunday so we took the train (2 stops from Tours) to the beautiful town of Amboise where there is a fabulous outdoor market on Sundays and all the local shops and restaurants are open.
We had a fantastic weekend in Tours and will definitely be back again to see more of your beautiful city and explore more of the Loire Valley.
Another electric fan for the second bedroom please.
