Lovely apartment in a great location

Although no breakfast in the booking Stuart kindly left milk, cereal and bread which tided us over before we shopped . The flat was extremely comfortable and the building has lots of character and near the castle and other sites . We always managed to get parked outside. It is paid parking but charges only apply 0845 to 1730(I think) so suited us . We always managed to get a space . Even if you have to pay for parking it is up to 4 hours and very reasonable . You are also not far from quite a few restaurants . Would recommend the Portcullis Inn about 5 minutes walk away towards the Castle. Reasonable price, great food and service. I would definitely stay here again .

Nothing . It had everything we needed. I guess a minor comment which my wife noticed (but I didnt) was that it was ever so slightly musty. However for an almost 400 year old , historical house , that is to be expected I would not recommend the flat to anyone with a disability because of the steps and also because it it at the top of the town so a little climb to get to it

Great stay in a beautiful building

Beautiful old building with a great view from the kitchen. Thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. Practically enough provided in the fridge for breakfast. Good location near the town centre but just far enough away that it wasn’t noisy.

No breakfast. The location is very good, close to the center and the train station (for visits to Edinburgh). The apartment is very good, equipped with everything you need, as described on booking.com.

Highly Recommend

This apartment was exceptional. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. It is in the perfect location for all the sights of Stirling, restaurants and public transport. Although central, it was very quiet, particularly at night. Stuart was the perfect host. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful apartment with such history in a great location. Very happy to find food items available for breakfast. Home made bread, tea, coffee etc. Fridge stocked with essentials too. Very well stocked apartment with good quality items. Great shower and supply of towels. Would stay again!

Stay here for perfect Stirling stay!

Location was perfect, rooms were beautiful, fully stocked kitchen for cooking and Stuart stocked some necessities in the fridge for us! Iron and board, washer cozy living room. It was such a find after I had already chosen another property, this was so much better!

Haha door lock gave us a few laughs trying to lock it properly.

Apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Host Stuart was very helpful and facilitated our late checkin after having problems with another property.

The communal rooms heated up quickly but the bedrooms were difficult to get warm.

A very good apartment that is spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipment. Host, Stuart, provides plenty of information in advance for staying at the property and about local attraction ( and maybe even some homemade bread - which is delicious). The apartment is easy to find and is in a perfect ( and quiet ) location on the way from the town centre cafes & restaurants to the Castle. Our second stay at this apartment and would definitely stay again.

Calm and with a good atmosphere

Fine views over Stirling, close to the castle and at the same time quiet surroundings. Stuart is the perfect host. A very nice apartment in the Old Spittal Hospital.

Pre 50th birthday luxury city getaway.

The apartment is very conveniently located (be aware it involves an uphill walk from the station which is quite steep in places though this is normal for the geography of Stirling). Excellent provision of information and clear instructions; folder includes photographs of recommended places which is very helpful. Very generous inclusion of extras; milk, butter, eggs, cereal, home baked bread with ingredients thoughtfully listed in case of allergies / dietary requirements. Very clean, spacious and surrounded by beautiful greenery. Well lit area. Good reliable wi-fi. Good range of recycling bins right on site including one for glass; so many self catering places involve a trek to the nearest bottle bank. Peaceful for such a central location. Lovely views and interesting building.

Just the trek uphill with luggage, but that is more a reflection of my own lockdown laziness and the unusually high temperatures at the time of my stay. Anyway, there are always taxis!

Fantastic apartment!

Fantastic location, just a short walk from the castle, jail and shops. Stuart, the host, was amazing. He sent us loads of information, including nearby restaurants, etc. Easy instructions regarding reaching the property, entry, etc. Everything had been thought of and instructions left where necessary. The flat was so clean and fresh and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Stuart also very kindly left us a beautiful home made loaf of bread which was absolutely delicious. Stirling is a lovely place and if returning, we could definitely stay in these apartments again.

Stirling is a beautiful place and accommodation was first class.

Stuart met us at the apartment and showed us around. He was extremely helpful and gave fantastic recommendations on where to go to eat. The accommodation was fabulous and just what we were looking for. I would highly recommend anyone that wants to visit Stirling to stay here.

The property was spacious enough for four of us, the beds were super comfy and it was extremely well maintained. There is everything you need for a ‘home from home’ stay, the kitchen is fully equipped and the location to see all Stirling has to offer is superb. Stuart the host is brilliant, great communication throughout and lovely treats on arrival.

I’m quite a cold person so for me the heating just wasn’t quite warm enough, it was a bit too cold in the bedroom. Nothing a duvet couldn’t sort out though.
