Castle Brae Apartment

Very comfortable, cozy unit that truly felt like we were staying in someone's well-loved home. We were so sorry that our itinerary only allowed us to stay one night. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well-stocked. The back garden would have been a wonderful place to have coffee or meals. Very easy access just steps inside the door of the building. Extra bonus: the street leads to a pathway up to the castle - slightly steep but relatively easy walk. We can absolutely recommend this home.

The apartment was massive with a beautiful garden to enjoy in the back. Location was perfect. This puts you minutes walk to bars, shops, restaurants and the castle. We were able to street park on the same street.

Its time for a new mattress.

Really comfortable and clean ! Perfectly located

Nothing

The location was good. The place was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had cookies!

I had to wear extra clothing and socks, hat in the 1st bedroom because it was so cold. The heater in the room wasn’t working so I even left the bedroom door open so the heater would circulate. I don’t run cold and I’m from Alaska so trust me when I say it was cold. The shower had no soap, shampoo or conditioner like the other apartments we’ve stayed in do. The tub doesn’t drain very fast so you’re standing in water as you shower. Neighbors upstairs sounded like they were having a clogging party but I put on noise canceling headphones and that worked. Parking is on the street on a very steep hill-there was nothing around so we had to park in the village area. This is not the owners fault-just something for someone to know.
