This loft was super cute and located on the nicest house on a not-so-nice street. Many of the neighboring houses are quite run down student houses, but it was pretty quiet. The good news is that it is a short walk to downtown Flag, so you can park and walk almost everywhere. Check in with Meg was really easy and the loft was outfitted with a great kitchen. The bed is super comfy and the AC unit in the bedroom was nice as well.
We will absolutely stay here again!

Quick walk to San Francisco St and all of the restaurants, bars and shops. Loft was very clean, well appointed and the deck overlooking the backyard and trees was pleasant. Would stay here again.

The good: Check in and check out process was seamless. I had a couple of questions for Meg, the property manager, during my 2-day stay and she was super quick in responding and very personable. I was looking for something that was walkable to the historic downtown area for restaurants etc and this place did meet expectations.
The not-so-good: I had immediate concerns about the neighborhood when I drove up. Seems like an area that is "in transition". I wasn't sure if it was 100% safe but I had no issues while there. The loft was as billed but pretty average. Bathroom was downstairs which is not a deal-breaker but not super convenient either. No real window treatments in bedroom to block out sun in the morning - just light cloth drapery - and most of the downstairs windows had none. Internet connection on the Smart TV seemed to cut out a few times. Also, my husband (who is not very tall) bumped his head twice when coming down the stairs from the loft. Yes, they do warn about this in the check-in instructions but worth noting.
The really questionable: Given we're in the midst of the pandemic, I was concerned about the dirty cutlery tray in one drawer and guests being asked to do their own dishes and put them away prior to leaving. Why charge a cleaning fee and still have to strip bed, empty trash and do dishes? Seems pretty ridiculous to me.
Overall it was ok - not terrible but not great either. I would likely stay elsewhere on a future visit.
