Very good explanations to reach the flat

The smell in the hallway gives a bad first impressions. I know it is not something that the owner might have any control over but that is quite unpleasant and musty smell. The shower had hardly no hot water.

There was very little to like

Property is in a very poor state with damp and mold prevalent in the building. There was no doors in the apartment even on the bathroom which was next to the kitchen. Towels and bedding were very old and worn. Was very glad we only stayed one night.

The host was readily available on the phone, though we were warned about the lack of hot water, we were offered no discount.

Brilliant location. Between the ramparts and the town. Free on-street parking. Simple access and clean, spacious accommodation. Superb hot water for shower etc and good amenities.

The sofa bed could do with a little bit of attention and the front door needed a very firm hand to open and close, which made it quite noisy. Don't be put off by this though - it's incredible value for money and a great location.

Comfortable and traditional

We had a comfortable stay and liked the old traditional building.

The shower drain was very slow and filled up to the glass and the toilet kept flushing.

Nice and comfortable- good price!

Very easy hand over and location is very nice close to the old town and walking distance from the downhill beach and harbour.

We got the top appartement, forth floor, beautiful with nice view. But a bit high up and there are no fire alarms installed. No clear emergency exit. That could be better.

We had a nightmare trying to get into the property. In our welcome email they said we had to enter code and push the door quite hard. We had to push it incredibly hard, felt like we could break the front door we had to push so hard. Bathroom smelt of drains bedding smelt a little

Nice apartment close to Eurotunnel

The apartment is very nice, spacious and very close to the historical centre. There is free parking nearby in the street.

We could not find the last e-mail with the access codes when we arrived, and had to call the host. There were so many messages and we just couldn't find it on a phone. It would be better to send all details in one go, rather than many different messages.

proximity to the walled city and price as well as the bottle of wine and extras and exquipment in the kitchen. it was clean and airy when the window were open.

The constant noise within the building was extraordinary. it sounded like someone was moving furniture from 6am in another flat. the bedroom door was difficult to close properly as the handle kept opening.

Les les couettes ils sont sales, il n’y a pas de porte dans les toilettes j’ai du mal à fermer la porte d’entrée .dans la douche, il y a beaucoup la salle noire la télé allait pas en face . entre le lit, il y a beaucoup de poussière. Il faut améliorer. Sinon c’est très calme, c’est bien.

Appartement sale

C'était près du centre, il y avait des petites attentions avec du thé et du café. La cuisine et la salle de bain étaient relativement propres même si la plupart des meubles étaient cassés ou en très mauvais état.

L'appart n'était pas propre. Le matelas et le canapé clic clac sont hyper sales avec des tâches de pipi et de sang, le lit pour enfant est dans un état lamentable il n'est pas utilisable heureusement que j'avais prévu un lit pour mon bébé. Les murs sont fissurés et la peinture s'effrite... Le parterre n'était pas fait à notre arrivée et petit bonus il semble y avoir un nid de guêpes quelque part dans l'immeuble du coup impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre sans qu'une guêpe ne rentre. Rapport qualité-prix très décevant, ils auraient pu au moins offrir une literie convenable. De plus il y a une odeur désagréable dans les parties communes.
