La vivienda superó nuestras expectativas. La sauna y la ducha funcionaron perfectamente, lo que aportó un plus de confort. La ubicación es excelente, en pleno centro de la ciudad, con fácil acceso a todo. Lo que más nos gustó fue la terraza: espaciosa, con muy buenas vistas, ideal para desayunar cada mañana con la salida del Sol. Una experiencia muy agradable, totalmente recomendable.

A lovely apartment in many ways with wonderful views

The description of the apartment might have to be changed a bit, there is no sauna for instance and the shower was a bit so so.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 4 weeks from mid-November until mid-December 2021 (our daughter joined us for 1 week). This was our third visit to Santa Cruz. We enjoy the city for its cultural elements (e.g., fabulous museum 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment), choice of bars and diverse restaurants: our favourites – El Porton (fabulous Spanish cuisine – try the lamb chops – chuletas de cordero) and open-plan fish restaurants on the lower floor of the Neustra Senora de Africa market. The city offers a great number of amenities, yet it is possible to explore on foot. San Andres with its fantastic sandy beach (El Tunel fish restaurant highly recommended) and La Laguna (historical city with great shopping and restaurants) are short trips away by public transport. La Laguna is easily reached by tram but please remember that the temperature there is 5c cooler that Santa Cruz due to high altitude. The apartment is in the centre of the city located on a high floor within an iconic building. Due to the design, there are no flats directly above. The massive, multi-aspect balcony is a major feature with views over the cruise liner and inter-island ferry port, Plaza de Espana and, further afield, out to sea and the surrounding hills. The flat felt safe and secure. Due the height, there is little traffic noise. At weekends, there can be some noise from the pedestrianised area below in the evenings. However, this is only from the balcony. The windows are well insulated and so any noise does not permeate indoors when closed. It was wonderful to be able to watch the world go by from on high. The living room /dining room is large, bright, and well equipped. It includes a large dining table, very large TV, good internet connection, comfortable furniture, and a second table suitable for office working. The kitchen is a good size with a small additional eating area and is well equipped with washer and dryer included. Our host - 1st class
