Dimora dei Veneziani

Great location! Clean apartment and helpful host! We stayed here a night before heading to the airport, and was a great spot for the evening.

Great location near the old town of Bari. Everything was in easy walking distance. Orrichiette ladies were a quick 5 minute walk.

You need to have someone strong to carry the bags up the stairs to apartment.

Great location in the heart of Cità Vechia, 5-8 min walking from all major sites (San Nicola , Bari Cathedral, Strada dei Orichiette,…), 8min walking from paid street-parking (safe), very modern and comfy apartment, Sara was really great!!

Nothing!

The location is fantastic, though keep in mind it cannot be reached directly by car. The apartment itself is a spacious two-level unit with two bathrooms, which was very convenient. Most importantly, I left cash behind in the room by mistake, and the staff returned it to me after I contacted them—their honesty is the main reason I am not giving the worst overall score.

The check-in experience was unacceptable. No one was there to let us in, and despite ringing the doorbell, calling, and messaging, we were left waiting outside with a young child for over 40 minutes before getting in. They were also not speaking any English. I think in 2026 it is not OK to not even being able to translate two senteces in the chat when you are hosing an apartment to tourists. Additionally, there is a non-opening window in the apartment that lets light shine in at night, making it difficult to sleep. There was also an automatic air freshener with a very unpleasant scent that was surprisingly hard to turn off.
