Lovely stay - nice host, fab location and very relaxing

Really only just a bed for the night.

Bedding was great quality - crips, clean white sheets, comfy mattresses. Good sleep. Good location, very close to town centre.

I'm sorry to leave this review. This is a VERY small property and it's in need of an upgrade. There isn't any care shown in the guest experience (other than the beds, which are fab). The stairs are close to being dangerous. One of our party was an elderly lady - the stairs are tight and small and carpeted in a slippery carpet. Picking up the keys down an alley in the dark isn't ideal. THe simple things are missing - that could easily be fixed. E.g. a shower curtain in 2025 (yuck). No matching mugs, Things that show care has been taken for this property. Overall, this is NOT value for money and it just smacks of a corporate host taking guests for granted. We've stayed in Henley annually for a while and this was a disappointment.

A lovely cottage with a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend.

The location, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Henley was ideal. Cottage very clean and comfortable.

There was only one hand towel. Ideally for hygienic reasons there should be one per guest. Especially when washing and drying hair. The courtyard could do with a little TLC (lots of weeds).

Good place to stay for a few days' holiday

Good location, very central. House was small, but OK for 4 people for a few days. The kitchen was fully equipped. Beds were comfortable. There was enough space for clothes for two people in the main bedroom. High street with restaurants, pubs and cafe was close by, as well as a local supermarket and a bakery.

The staircase to go to the bedrooms was quite steep and there was only one toilet on the ground floor, with access from the kitchen. The second bedroom had basically no space for the clothes. The table in the dining area of the lounge was a bit wonky and at some point came apart when moving it a bit more in the middle of the room to make spece for a 4th person.

Actually I got locked out by my daughter no fault of the property but couldn't access host spare key until 8.30 am, therefore I stayed outside of the property all night. There is no door bell and this situation might not have occurred if there had been one.

Everything we needed for our 5 night stay with son and his girlfriend. Clean, well appointed. Perfect location.

Not much to say here. Parking on Hop Garden Road worked. there was never a spot on West Street but only a short walk so not an issue.

location is perfect. 50 metres into the town centre. quiet street. lovely pub opposite.

The master bed is definitely a small double. a tight squeeze for anyone used to a queen sized bed or above. We stayed during a very hot period and it would be a good idea to provide some fans for such periods. The upstairs gets very warm

Fantastic homely option for a stay in Henley

Lovely little cottage in a brilliant location. Quiet spot despite being so close to town centre. Very well equipped kitchen. Double room really comfy. Not the weather for outdoors, but the backyard was really sweet. I often visit Henley and the hotel options are so limited, if you don’t want to pay £££ It was a really good alternative!

The staircase was pretty steep for my Dad! Downstairs bathroom might be a negative for some

Great location for a Town Hall wedding

Great location for the Town Hall for our daughter's wedding. Also close to all the shops etc.

No parking but I knew that when I booked. We found a local road to park on. One good bed, one not so good.
