Location was brilliant

wasn't expecting to arrive to a house that was untidy with kitchen draws open and cigarette butts in the ashtray. Was expecting Breakfast made, not a help yourself situation. Its more a shared B&B and this needs to be explained clearer when booking and on the site

A charming place near the river and train station

The location couldn't be better. It is a historic house full of charm. Breakfast was great and the host was very helpfull.

Breakfast was excellent. The place was very clean and walking distance from the train station. Richard was an excellent host who was available for us at all times. He was very knowledgeable about the area and he provided us with a few helpful recommendations.

We enjoyed our stay. The convienence of the location, the beautiful weather made the weekend.

Great location. Richard the manager was very helpful, contacting us on the morning to confirm our booking and being on hand to support our entering the property.

The shower had some black mold under the shower mat and given a heat wave, we could have done with fans in the bedrooms. The location (city centre, near the train station) meant that there was some ambient noise late in the night.

Overnight stay during our walk of the Thames Valley Path

It was a good location and Richard was a very welcoming host. We had access to a washing machine, which was perfect after 9 days walking the Thames Valley Path Great continental breakfast with lots of choice

Not relaxing as we didn’t like the fact that there are others in the property when you are there.

The property is well equipped with 3 bedrooms, all double beds and an extra single bed in the large start bedroom, a small kitchen and one bathroom. The location is also very good.

The manager actually enters the property when you are staying there and lets himself in. He has a room on the top floor next to one of the bedrooms and this morning another man let himself in via the courtyard at the back straight into the kitchen when we were making a cup of tea. Very odd as we thought we had sole access to the properly during our stay. This was definitely not the case. The manager let himself in this morning to put out breakfast for us. The crumpets were mouldy and dated 27th of January and it’s 9th of February. I was given a key to the property when I arrived. However on returning the key didn’t work and it took us 30 minutes to contact the manager and get the situation resolved. The key he gave us did not open the door and the key safe wouldn’t open.

A lovely property with all you could want.

There was everything we could want for our stay. Clean rooms, great facilities, a large selection for breakfast and easy access to the property.

One small thing, the shower knob could do with some WD40, my wife could not turn it off. apart from that we had a great stay.

Great place for any group or large family visit.

We were three couples for two days, we had a really comfortable time where we were able to rest, sleep and socialise. There was plenty of good food available for continental breakfasts, but we preferred to head to a cafe by the river around 100 yards away for breakfast. Good kitchen facilities, fully stocked. The main bedroom has a spare single bed and also a good table and chairs area for everyone to sit round and chat/have coffee/breakfast. We were met for entry and to be shown how it all works, so very easy. We had a very pleasant weekend and this venue was a big part of that.

One bathroom is manageable between three couples, but not perfect.

Exceptional

Location was a short walk from Henley centre. Parking was just over the road and very reasonable. The apartment had every thing you need and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was laid out for us when requested and we could help ourselves. Winston, the dog, was made to feel very welcome too.

Interesting 🤣

We were greeted by Richard who was lovely and very helpful. We did enjoy our stay here ( except for the bed problem) but it wasn’t what we were expecting and as strange as it was Richard made us feel very welcome.

It was a strange setup which was not mentioned in the advertising! Richard actually lives in the apartment as well and his room was next to ours so we could hear him chatting on his mobile so we assumed he could hear us to so we felt we had to whisper , not sure if he has an on-suit or he shared our bathroom as the medicine cabinet was full of his things! I had to use the wardrobe in one of the other rooms as our wardrobe was full of Richard’s things. There was no lounge so you had to eat breakfast in the larger bedroom which had a table in it. Unfortunately our bed was an old iron frame which had the most terrible squeak every time one of us moved so kept waking in the night. It said parking on the website which turned out be down the road in the station and cost us £18.

Station Rd, HOT

The location is right next to the train station and a 7 minute walk into town. The house was well equipped, we took our breakfast down to the river for a picnic brunch, it was fabulous. The beds were comfortable, it was all easy and the communication with Ffion was effortless. I would reccomend it and its handy for visiting family in Henley. The manager does live on the top floor next to one of the bedrooms, however, he wasn't there during our stay so we had the run of the house which suited us perfectly. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The main plus for us was location - close to the train station.

Perfect location. Fab breakfast - albeit a little odd to be eating it in a bedroom. But proper table and chairs - we treated it like breakfast in bed with friends. Very clean and very good communication beforehand. Great value for money.

Only one bathroom and we were a group of six. Could be quite noisy given perfect location.
