LE SAINT-MICHEL - Appartement Cosy

Space and location. Not to far to walk to main attractions. Very near the main market which we loved. A lot of bars and restaurants within 5-7 mins walk.

Although it had a fan, it was difficult to get air flowing through the apartment. So it was hot.

The location was excellent. Lots of cool bars and restaurants nearby in Saint Michel square, as well as vintage and antique shops. Just a short 10-15 minute walk into the old town and about a 15 minute walk to the station, which was also quite handy. Very close to the amazing Marché de Capucins which is just down the street. Comfy bed, decent shower, well equipped kitchen.

Unfortunately we visited Bordeaux during one of the hottest periods (temperatures around 38 to 42 degrees) and the apartment was extremely uncomfortable for this reason. There is no air-conditioning, and while there were two pedestal fans provided, they did very little to help cool the apartment, especially at night time. There was no circulation so even with the windows open, the breeze didn't enter the apartment. Thankfully, there was a small freezer compartment so we were able to freeze some small water bottles and slept with these next to us to keep cool.

The apartment is nice, big and confortable. Internet didn't work but he company Cocoonr managed very well the problem. They gave us another apartment
