Centrally located large clean ground level apartment with deck. Good wifi. Nice bed. Included parking is a bonus. Nicely decorated. Shutters to minimize street noise in living area, bedroom and deck are quiet. Very close to market. Best of all was Cyril's welcome and responsiveness!

The communication was excellent and Cyril was amazing with check in and out, advice and flexibility with us arriving at different times. A lovely place to stay and will be back for sure.

No air con so very warm

The bed was comfortable, the provision of appliances, cutlery, crockery and other utensils was good. The size of the apartment (except for the bedroom) was good. Parking, although 300m away was secure. It is reasonably close to the B tram line. Cyril, the manager was generally helpful and made us feel welcome with a bottle of wine.

The apartment is better than first impressions. The rubbish bins parked outside the front door of the apartment are not a good advertisement for the property. The smell in the hallway was pretty bad. The apartment presents well and is well provisioned with crockery, cutlery and odds and ends. It became obvious on the first night that although the floors had been swept, they had not been washed for some time. Within a few minutes of walking around the apartment in bare feet, after a shower, the soles of my feet were black. We would have washed the floors ourselves but the mop in the apartment did not have a sponge head, nor was there a bucket, so mopping was not possible. We requested a mop and a bucket, to mop the floors ourselves. We never got a reply. The bed was very comfortable but the bedroom is claustrophobic. There is no external light source and the bed has less than 300 mm clearance from the wall, even when the bed is pushed against the other wall. Even though the day temperature was only 26 degrees the apartment was quite warm. Two fans were provided but they are no substitute for air-conditioning. The hosts later advised us that they hoped to get permits to install air-conditioning within 12 months and the bedroom was planned to be renovated and extended with a dressing room, in the future. When advised that toilet seat was loose and dangerous, admittedly on the second last day, we were advised it would be fixed, after we had left. Despite the apartment being double glazed, on our third night there, we were unable to get to sleep until after 3am due to the raucous party going on in an apartment to the rear of the property. The drunken loud talking, laughter and screaming was relentless and made it impossible to sleep. The hosts assurances that items raised would be addressed at some time in the future does not help those who they are renting to at the moment. The apartment is rated as it is, not what the hosts propose.
