Wonderful Stay

Lovely cottage style apartment in a great location. Close to all pubs and restaurants. On street parking was easy to secure. Good communication with host. Lovely log burner, very cosy and perfect for our New Year break. We hope to be back.

Excellent value for the stay.

Very centrally located and lots of free parking on the street. The unit is very well stocked with a full kitchen, living room and a full bedroom. Though the building is old, it has been very well updated from within with modern conveniences. There is a laundry as well. Grocery stores are located around the corner. Good communication with the host and highly recommended.

Classic Cotswolds

Really sweet little cottage right in the middle of the village. Next door to the pub, could hear a little noise in the living room but not a peep in the bedroom - great night’s sleep. We attended a wedding and Thornton was well equipped to help us get ready, iron/ironing board etc.

Perfect, warm, clean and cosy cottage for a couple and a small dog. Chipping Campden is stunning

Great communication and instructions from the host. Gorgeous little cottage, perfect for a couple and a little dog. Warm and clean. Considering they accept dogs there were no signs of other people's pets. The location couldn't be better - on a corner of the high street, yet not too noisy due to double glazing. Chipping Campden is stunning and everything in the village was within walking distance of the cottage. Lots of eating places to choose from - we were very pleased with everywhere we ate and dogs are welcome and loved by absolutely everyone!! We ate in a coffee shop, had delish' takeaway sausage sandwiches one morning, a fab roast in the 8 Bells pub, dinner in the Noel Arms Hotel and breakfast in Huxleys Brasserie - all food and service was brilliant - obviously we will be back!!

Nothing at all. Dedicated parking would have been nice, but there's on-street parking all around which is made clear when booking, so we knew what to expect. It wasn't an issue for us in March but maybe more problematic in high season. I gave Will, the host a couple of wear and tear feedback points during our stay, just thought it fair to inform him in case he was unaware. Will's response was positive and appreciative. We could only get wifi to work on our phones

Such a lovely place. Very cosy and extremely clean. Nice furniture, fittings and bedding. Right on the high street but also quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

10am check out but host kindly extended an hour and was very accommodating. I realise this isn't always available and we were very grateful but it would be good to be in line with other accommodation check out times and 10am just too early if you want to eat, pack, shower etc - it means you have to get up very early for a Sunday morning which is great for day people but we are quite nocturnal. :)

Character… cosiness position ….lovely clean kitchen spotless cooker .

Only 1/2 of a toilet roll …..we arrived early so the shops where still open ….but arriving late would of been a problem and if you are travelling around you would not be carrying toilet rolls !!!! I feel this is quite mean …..

Lovely period property. V cosy with everything we needed for our staff. Also v clean

I know it’s an old property but there was a strong smell of damp in the bedroom. As I grew up in a old stone house I know damp can be a challenge. Just think other visitors might find this v off putting . Wifi also did not work but as we were not there for v long - we did not report

Very nice little cottage. Perfect for two people to stay. The cottage was clean and homely.

The location was very good. Lots of bars/eateries and cafe's. The cottage itself was well equipped e.g. oven, microwave, toaster, hoover, fridge etc. The wifi worked straight away. Keys were easy to collect. Nice shower with instant hot water. Heating system was very good.

Fairly noisy in the mornings due to being on a fairly major junction and the pub right next doors.

The place was lovely. Perfect location and everything you could possibly need was provided. The interior design added to the experience as it was so fitting to the Cotswolds! Will was great. Received lots of information beforehand. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, good size apartment in great location. Amenities fantastic, everything you need is there. Recommended.

The only thing I would suggest is a net curtain in the leaving room. I didn’t feel comfortable to sit in there with the blinds up when people were passing by.

Peaceful and rustic stay in the Cotswolds

Excellent location just off the high street near coffee shops and cafés. Loved the rustic interior decor.

It would have been nice to have some toiletries provided for our short stay - there was no hand wash in the kitchen or bathroom. No shampoo / body wash either.

Beautiful little cottage in an excellent location wirh all the amenities you need right on your doorstep. Fantastic location for lots of local circular walks. Learnt a lot about the history of the town and surrounding area.

Just the pillows, they were a bit too squidgy and soft. Also, the town is a busy tourist location, and you get lots of passers by stopping and nattering outside the windows in the lounge which is sometimes a little distracting.
