Adonis Beach

This could easily have been the first 10/10 I'd ever given on Booking.com, however two things, for which I will subtract one point each, prevent this from happening, more on that below. In general the apartment itself is incredibly nice for what I paid, done up in tasteful design and felt honestly luxurious. Just the right size, flattering standard and presentation, super easy check-in process, perfect location by the beach, even complimentary beverages in the fridge. Surprisingly excellent value for money. Simply wow.

However, let's move on to the two issues that need to be addressed. The most important factor: It's almost impossible to find free parking in Swinoujscie, and lots of guests come by car. You are offered to pay for private parking via the hotel administrating your booking, or you can pay for street parking. According to the quick research I had time doing, the prices aren't that much different when comparing the mentioned alternatives, but you definitely have to calculate another 20 euro/day on top of the general accommodation fee if coming by car, which a lot of people do. This should be CLEARLY HIGHLIGHTED on the hotel's front page on Booking.com, in the presentation text, as it's a bit of an anomaly and makes any deal on offer less lucrative overall. You find the information if looking for it, yes, but it should be given on the initial page immediately, as is now it gives off cynical, sneaky vibes when "hidden" away like this. When it says "private parking", I and most customers expect this to be free, unless specifically mentioned. So, please make this more visible so people know before they make a reservation. The other negative is that in the reception of the hotel you have to stop by to pay for private parking, the receptionist; a very non-charismatic Ukrainian woman, had as it seemed zero foreign language skills (she wasn't even able to get the translator on her phone to work properly). Not English, German, or anything besides her native language. Which isn't really sufficient if working in tourism and hospitality in today's globalized world, especially not if dealing with numerous foreign guests on a regular basis. Not good enough. Also have to briefly mention checkout at 10 AM is way too early; it feels a bit hostile, like you're being rushed out as hastily as possible.
