Location was great. It was peaceful even being close to the motorway. The owners were very welcoming in their messages. Cottage was well equipped and cosy.

Good location for a stop travelling from north to south. Only stayed one night, so can't say more about the surroundings. Comfortable beds, with sockets placed where you can actually use them.
The main room smelt of smoke throughout our stay, the bathroom door was hard to open and close. The doors need a way to stop them slamming shut, as every door was so loud - and is potentially dangerous for little kids. Listing said it has a hot tub / jacuzzi and perhaps I didn't read the listing right but was expecting this to be a 'proper' outside one, instead it was part of the bath.

Good location easy to find and central for what we needed
It was not clean the surfaces were all smudged we couldn’t watch the tv until I wiped it over. The cottage is in quite a bit of disrepair and really not what I expected for the money I paid! The garden was not secure, so our dog had to be taken out in a lead at all times. Outdoor furniture was also tatty and needed some attention.
