There was a very cold draft coming from the windows into the small bedroom which took very long time to warm up. Addition of a step stool for my child to access the sink would be a bonus!

Home from home

The property is very well presented. Very comfortable with superb attention to our needs and requirements like being at home. The underfloor heating being winter right now is excellent. The bathrooms and bedrooms are comfortable clean with an open plan living room dining kitchen has all you need and require. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning in the future.

It was warm

It advertised a hot tub but there wasn’t one and when I asked where it was the owner said it was a jacuzzi in the bath. That is NOT a hot tub

Cracking place to stay and really handy for the Lakes.

Location was great. Property was ever clean and to a high standard. Communication was first class and nothing was an issue.

Super warm, best shower ever!!

Loved how warm it was! And the modern touches. The shower in the ensuite was incredible! The hosts also seemed friendly when messaging. We were trying to get into the wrong property and couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t get the door open 😂 Responded quickly

There unfortunately were a few cleaning issues within the property. Soon after getting in we noticed quite a bit of little black hairs on the floor in the living room and some in the main bathroom. Mirrors in both bathrooms were very streaky and when cooking one evening, I went to use an oven tray, to find what looked like old stuck in pizza from a previous guest. The couches have definitely seen better days and weren’t very comfortable and when leaving my average size husband sat in the bed to put his shoes on and the bed frame broke! I did message the owners once it happened and tried to fix it for them but we couldn’t. I truly hate giving any negative reviews but to me these aren’t massive, just attention to detail. Overall we had a lovely time. Thanks ☺️

Everything, cottage was fantastic, it was equipped with everything we needed and more, it was spotless, modern and cosy. Very private but not isolated, host brilliant. Will definitely be coming back ,already recommended to my family members and we've only been home 1 hour🫠, i really wish I booked for the week. Thankyou Can't wait to come back

It was ok but the place really does need a good clean and some work doing on it.

The property was well located for the lakes

The access to the garden was round the side of the property and there was no real view of the garden which I feel was suggested. The property needs some TLC the windows are rotten on the inside, the curtains in the lounge don’t close , the lamp shade wasn’t fitted properly and apart from the bathrooms we felt the place needed a good clean. There was dust on everything the skirtings and behind things was dirty. The cupboards were very dusty even on the fire alarm it was thick with dust. The cream lampshade was covered in black dust. There was nowhere near a plug and mirror to straighten or dry hair.

Excellent location for a quiet cosy getaway. The surrounding garden area was so nice, the showers and bath were good quality. Kitchen facilities good.

location excellent garden grounds lovely. felt thr kitchen could be cleaner. dirty cup left on wall outside property.Smell from dishwasher disgusting. filter chocked with food debris. patio doors so smeared and dirty trouble seeing out of them.cutlery drawer crumbs event.extractor fan from bathroom dirty and was not powerfull enough for moisture from bathroom expecially as no window. Beds very comfortable and new modern showers.Would not have liked to try and open some of the windows due to poor maintenance.Lap trays to eat meals from when watching tv etc fit for bin.Reluctant to use kitchen for cooking after second night.Did leave letter for owners. ? If we got a reply. would not stay there again.Needs a deep clean.!

Spotlessly clean cottage in a very handy location

The location is amazing. So close to the N.Lakes. Motorway is close but not too noisy. The cottage is lovely, so clean and pretty well equipped. Garden is a beautiful place to sit, if the weather is kind! Didn't meet the owners but they communicated brilliantly when we got in touch.

Not much in Tebay itself so get food in before you arrive. The Tebay services just up the M6 have a farmer's market tho which is excellent!

Lovely stay with fab garden and access to gorgeous countryside around.

The garden is fab and even though on a round about the traffic wasn’t a concern. Didn’t hear during the night. The shower was fab but did loose heat after 2/3 had showered. There are a few bits of TLC needed. Repairs desperately needed to bedroom window (rotting). Also the kick boards in the kitchen and sharp, loose edging on the small bed. Used to a King size bed so the double was a little small for us. None of this actually affected our stay but would have given it a higher rating.

Lovely stay

Spent 2 nights here for a family getaway. Had a lovely stay. My little boy and my dog loved playing in the grounds. My little boy loved the bath in particular and we loved the on suite shower. We are already looking forward to staying here again. Thank you

Brilliant cottage, handy for the location. Very well heated and very well presented

A few milk sachets and tea bags would have been appreciated after a long journey but it wasn’t a problem as we were able to grab some milk nearby. Coffee was provided, we just prefer tea.

This house is just a dream 🥹😍so amazing cottage atmosphere just fantastic for kids , families, dogs are welcome and I think this is amazing because not many places offers that ❤️you don’t need anything with you as the owners provide everything from bath stuff shampoos to cleaning stuff ! Perfectly situated!

Beautiful cosy cottage, brilliantly situated for trips to the Dales or the Lakes. The WiFi was brilliant as we were working part of the day, and it was super reliable. We really appreciated the little jams which we had for breakfast, and the toiletries provided, plus lovely soft towels! The wet room shower area came in handy for getting the toddlers cleaned up after our day trips and the streaming services on the TV provided a lot of choices for relaxing after they'd gone to sleep! The garden was lovely and well maintained, with a trampoline and beautiful views. The hosts were lovely, very helpful when we needed to get in touch with queries about our stay.
