Comfortable, clean and wonderfully designed. Fabulous stay!

Fantastic place - lovely rooms, super comfy bed and the kitchen comes fully stocked with every appliance you might need whilst there. Great location too, right in the middle of Sedbergh but still quiet and secluded in a way. overall just great! Host was also absolutely lovely - quick replies and very accommodating!

the only thing to note is that it can be a little cold as the upstairs hallway radiator wasn't working for our stay, but that honestly didn't affect our trip much at all.

A delightfully cosy atmosphere and peaceful stay. I love the way the visitor's book and shelves were people can leave a little something created a feeling of community.

A really lovely apartment

It was a cosy, comfortable and warm apartment in the centre of Sedbergh looking out on the old church. Really lovely location. The car park was a couple of hundred metres down the street (if that) and a parking permit was provided (thank you ☺️). Entry at ground level and then up a flight of steps into a beautiful lounge - diner - kitchen as per photographs with a gorgeous view of the church - but no toilet on this level. Up another flight of stairs to the 2 comfortable bedrooms and lovely bathroom. The radiators didn't come on upstairs at all, but as necessary we turned on the bathroom towel rail and allowed the heat from below to come up. This heated us quite adequately as long as doors were left open. We were very cosy and content, which for a cool November week was wonderful 😁 The only difficulty for one of our family was on coming in from the cold and needing the toilet, it was challenging to have then two flights of stairs to climb. In that sense it means this apartment is suitable for the fit and able but if you are challenged either by mobility or by toilet needs, it may not be for you.

A stylish and carefully furnished cottage. You feel like you are in a warm and cosy home, equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. I really liked the furnishings and colours of the house and being able to learn about the history of Sedbergh and the cottage through the years, thanks to Jacky's folder. The view from the windows is spectacular and the proximity to footpaths and valleys is very convenient. The supermarket and pubs are very close by and the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park is only 30 minutes away. I really appreciated Jacky's kindness and the park permit. An added bonus is the availability of electric charging points in the car park, where I was able to charge my vehicle. Highly recommended!

Perhaps the only note could be to review the bathtub, which is a bit worn and detracts from the elegant style of the house. In any case, the shower works very well, it's just a matter of aesthetics.

We truly appreciated the early entry to the property, which accommodated our needs perfectly. The location is wonderful,

Bedrooms and living areas are located on separate levels. Cleaned to a high standard and decorated lovely.

It would have been a nice touch to have a small amount of milk in the fridge for tea upon arrival.

A stunning Apartment which was great for our short stay.

Fantastic accommodation that was spotlessly clean and a perfect base for our 4 day/3 night short break visiting the area. Great communication from the hosts.

It would have been great to have a dishwasher; which was surprising as the kitchen is absolutely huge and has so much storage (which is not all needed on a short stay). Also there could do with being a lot more hangers for clothes (6 in total across 2 bedrooms). The only other negative from our stay (which isnt related to this accommodation) is that local food choices were quite poor on the days we stayed. It looks as though more places open at the back end of the week.....but we were only there Mon to Weds; and were away Thursday morning.

Lovely place to stay for a family weekend in Sedburgh

Lovely accommodation as described and expected, great location. Kitchen facilities and equipment was excellent, as was the information provided for guests.

Twin bed mattresses were a bit soft (but appreciate this is a personal preference). SMART heating system was a bit annoying as would have liked to be able to control heating in room and when just two of us there sat on the settee it did seem to go off because we were not moving around in the space.

Absolutely stunning flat, so comfy, all new and clean, perfect location

To reach perfection, there would have been real, ground coffee + press or a capsule espresso machine and a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. And maybe a couple of bathrobes - but we're talking tiny details here, everything really was excellent! 😀

Very easy to find, beautiful decor, excellent facilities- lovely to find T-bags and loo roll (so we didn't have to nip out straight away)

One very Minor point - no pint glasses for the men's beer, and wine glasses didn't match .

A beautiful little getaway 😍

A beautiful place to stay in the small town of Sedbergh. Comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The apartment is on 2 floors with a large and comfortable living room and kitchen. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms and the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bed in the master bedroom is super king size and very quiet too.

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and we loved the fresh flowers and welcome pack for our dog. There was everything we needed and more. It was clean, very comfortable and nicely lit in the evening. The location is great for walks, shops and restaurants. The free parking

Lovely apartment ideally located for Sedbergh, southern lakes and Yorkshire Dales

The apartment was very comfortable, modern and very well presented to a very high standard. A lot of thought has been put into the design and presentation of the property , everything was there that you could possibly need for a break. The aspect and location of the property was really good and access to pubs, cafes and shops was easily found and close . The owner Jacky gave good information prior to us travelling which helped us very much on our arrival and during our stay.

A fantastic place, with loads of charm 😊

Everything!!! It was an absolute Gem. So beautifully presented, very modern design without losing the character of the building. Very well stocked kitchen, with even more equipment in the kitchen than most homes. Beautifully clean and comfortable a real sense of pride was shown in the whole apartment. All the little touches were so well presented.

Exceptional

Stayed here with my friend for her Birthday. The place was absolutely stunning it had the wow factor. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, comfy sofa, comfy bed. The host Jackie was very friendly and had great communication. The pub up the road was very friendly we ate there one night. In fact everyone in the town was very friendly. Would highly recommend staying at wuthering heights.
