About this apartment rental
Vacation rental, approx. 160 square meters, with a lake view on the upper floor of a large thatched-roof house,
Cozyly furnished for 6 guests in 2 bedrooms. Additionally, 2 sofa beds for up to 4 guests in the living room, 2 cribs (optional), and 6 additional beds (in the loft).
2.5 bathrooms, balcony, separate terrace with a tent (3 m x 6 m) and a gas grill (optional).
Large living room with a high, wood-paneled ceiling extending up to the roof ridge. Well-equipped kitchen integrated into the living room via a counter. Extendable table for up to 16 guests plus 3 high chairs (optional).
All rooms offer a lake view. Toys for children available upon request. There is a balcony in front of the entrance door. Large public playground behind the sunbathing lawn (approx. 100 meters) and a water playground at the swimming area.
The apartment is available for guests’ exclusive use. The loft can be rented upon request for large families or groups.
Four freshly made beds and 4 sets of 2 towels are included in the price. Each additional bed, including linens and towels, costs extra.
A walk around the lake is about 6 km. The bakery is about 400 meters away. It’s 500 m to the shopping center with Aldi and KiK. It’s about 100 m to the swimming area.
3 canoes, 2 SUPs, 1 rowing/fishing boat with oars, 15 bicycles, 2 children’s bikes, and 3 handcarts are available to guests at special rates. No immediate neighbors, except for many community gardens. The apartment is located directly on the Hamburg–Rügen long-distance bike path, with a direct bike path to Schwerin Castle. The nearest bus stop is about 700 m away. It’s about a 15-minute walk to downtown. Easily accessible by car. Ample public parking is available in front of the building. Parking on the property is available for an additional fee.

All guests are required to provide their first and last names, address, phone number, and email address prior to check-in. The person making the reservation must present valid identification prior to check-in. A photo will be taken of the ID and deleted no later than 4 weeks after the stay, provided all claims have been settled.

Zur Unterkunft:
Obwohl das Internet nicht überall im Haus funktionierte und auch nur die öffentlich rechtlichen Sender zur Verfügung standen, waren wir mit dem Aufenthalt wirklich sehr zufrieden. 4,5*
Zum Gastgeber:
Ein äußerst freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns bereits vor der Ankunft mit vielen Tipps geholfen hat und jederzeit zu erreichen war. 5*

Vorneweg erstmal: Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, einen tollen Gastgeber und sind grundsätzlich rundum zufrieden gewesen. Das Haus selber mit dem tollen Reetdach ist super im Schuss, hat aber auch auf Grund des Alters sowie durch schlechte Erfahrungen mit vorherigen Mietern ein paar Macken und Einschränkungen, mit denen wir nicht gerechnet hatten. Das hat den Aufenthalt aber kaum beeinträchtigt. Es sind ausreichend Betten da, diese sind jedoch sehr weich und für unseren größten waren sie auch etwas kurz, man kann aber ohne Probleme auch auf den Couches schlafen, die sehr bequem sind. Ausstattung war für unsere Bedürfnisse mehr als ausreichend und es wurde uns sogar noch mehr Geschirr und Besteck nachgebracht. Wir konnten uns gut selbst versorgen, auch weil ein guter Grundstock an Gewürzen und Kochzutaten bereits da war.
Durch den Verleih von Fahrrad, SUP und Kanu vor Ort waren wir sehr flexibel und konnten viel unterwegs sein, nur zum großen Einkauf musst das Auto mal bewegt werden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe, Bäcker fußläufig.
Der Gastgeber hat uns bereits vor Anreise reichlich mit Infos versorgt und war auch während des Aufenthaltes immer mindestens telefonisch ansprechbar und sehr bemüht alle Probleme zu lösen.
Unter der Wohnung ist eine Veranstaltungs-Gastronomie, die aber auf Grund Corona noch geschlossen war. Dadurch konnten wir auch die große Seeterrasse nutzen. Wie sehr es hier sonst durch die Gastro Lärmbeeinträchtigung gibt. können wir daher nicht einschätzen - wir hatten es bis auf ein paar abendliche Partytrüppchen am See sehr ruhig.
Kleiner Hinweis noch für reisende mit kleinen Kindern oder älteren Menschen: Die Treppe. sind sehr steil. Unsere Zweijährigen haben sie recht problemlos an unserer Hand bewältigen können, hochtragen war da aber zum Teil auch schon etwas wackelig.

Wohnung : für Kinder aber auch Erwachsene sehr Erlebnisreich . Überall Gefahren Quellen vor allem der Flur mit seiner Schräge , Größere Menschen haben hier echt zu tun, zu zweit nicht passierbar. Alles sehr altbacken.Fernsehen nur 4 Sender , kein WLAN , Waschmaschiene nur auf Nachfrage und dann noch nicht kostenfrei. Wir waren da als das Wetter nicht so besonders war, Heizung nur auf Nachfrage und dann nur ein kleiner Heizlüfter welcher nur -5 min betrieben werden konnte da der Stecker heiß wurde.Fahrradverleih war ok nur die Räder waren von 1980 . Boote und SUP hatten wir für sehr viel Geld dazu genommen da dies nicht kurzfristig zu oder abgebucht wurden konnten , leider konnten wir diese nur einen Tag nutzen . Hier passt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht. Vorsicht vor der Treppe zum Objekt sehr steil , auf den Balkon/Terasse Absturzsicherung lawede . Ich hätte mir beim Verleih gern mehr Spontanität des Vermieters gewünscht. Mann fühlte sich vor Ort sehr gefangen durch die ganzen Bauzäune die rings ums Objekt gehen z.T. mit Stacheldraht versehen.
Positiv fanden wir die Stadt Schwerin , sie ist sehr schön sowie auch die Seen welche überall zu finden sind .
