The breakfast was excellent, a very good selection from the cold buffet and eggs however you liked them cooked. The property was expertly restored and finished and maintained beautifully to a very high high standard. The owners Barbara and Julian and all the staff did everything with pleasure to make such a wonderful stay.

Lovely restored mansion with original features. Garden pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax.
The property is outside Lucca and guests need to drive or pay for taxis. Taxis were expensive (20 euro for short 5 min journey) and difficult to get.

It was the last 2 nights of our 8 nights trip to Tuscany and what a "Grand Finale" it was! The Villa, the well maintained and beautiful gardens, the pool, the reception and breakfast rooms, all seems like a small palace. Everything was so nice and tranquil. The location is just great, in a secure place in a quite neighborhood of Lucca, only 6 or 7 minutes by car from center of Lucca, excellent location ! Also, just 8-9 minutes by car from fabulous "Villa Reale di Marlia".
The owners, Gunther, Barbara and their son, are very attentive, very kind, generous, friendly and welcoming hosts.
The breakfasts are fresh, tasty, rich and very varied - Perfect extensive breakfast took place in a terrace near the garden with views of the garden.
The room is very equipped with all necessary amenities and treats, the shower is great, the bed very comfy and they provided you with all you can think of in the room. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Villa and I just wish we had more than 2 nights, to enjoy the tranquility of the pool and the views of the beautiful gardens.
A real pearl in Lucca - wonderful place, wonderful hosts, great service, amazing breakfast and beautiful garden. 10 of 10 !
Can't wait returning to charming Lucca and staying again at warmly recommended Villa La Preziosa.

The location is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly, the breakfast is good, the garden is beautiful. with nice pool... large parking lot
Very small bathroom with no window, impossible to dry towels so they should be changed every day
