Hello Côte d'Azur - Spacious apartment at a 5 min walk from the beach

Apartment was clean and staff friendly. Swimming pool was nice although getting in and out through the gate was difficult, you needed to be very strong to open it. We saw lots of people struggling with the lock.There was no shade so you had to carry chairs and parasols from the apartment which was a nuisance in 40 degrees heat.

I booked the apartment with a friend as it had 2 bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. However it turned out one of the bathrooms did not have a toilet and had to use one in hall. Never in my life have i seen an en suite without a wc and this should have been made clear in the description. Booking.com also states there is a bathtub but this is not true.Also only one of the bedrooms had air conditioning so door to living room needed to be left open at night to benefit from the aircon in there, thus not giving any privacy. There was a lot of traffic noise in the smaller bedroom with motorbikes passing until 2am then bin men arriving at 7.30am. We were there during a heatwave and it was a 15 min walk to beach and more like 10 to the bus stop not 5 minutes as stated (unless you are a very fast walker and there in cooler conditions). A car would be beneficial at this property. It would also be a nice touch if a bottle of water could be provided on arrival as it was so hot and we had to walk to find a shop as soon as we arrived.
