Good hotel near Carezza

I went late night because I lost way so I sent a message to hotel via booking.com but they say cannot wait for me after9 p.m. I was hurry up arrived 9.15 to the reception. There was still opened reception Florencia was very good service. Hotel is very good surrounding behind church good breakfast beautiful view and not far from carezza lake

Very good value for money in this location

It's a beautiful location and very nice complex including restaurant & bar, beerhouse (not open during our visit) and church. Breakfast was very good, we also liked the possibility of the dinner after our arrival. Room was well equipped, so we didn't miss anything.

It was too warm in the room and probably very dry air (even my hands were dry from contact with linen). Toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly, but we can say that the room and facilities were cleaned in overall. The rooms are not very soundproof. The time of the holy masses could be better (sooner in the morning, later in the evening).

The beds are for 2 persons but not good for couples they are separated and mattresses can not be put together. Expensive dinner in the restaurant - NOT value for money.

Well maintained hotel located at 1520 meters above the sea, surrounded by the beautiful nature and splendid Dolomite landscapes. Wonderful place for mental health and relaxation. Unfortunately just stayed only for one night during motorbike trip, but I can imagine tons of summer and winter activities around this magic place. Cowbell wakeup sound from roaming animals and embracing silence will empty your mind. Great place for night sky observations (no light pollution)! Will definitely come back again.

It's overall very good experience...room is big enough for kids to play. Everything is clean... Breakfast is very tasty with options, even for vegetarians. Staff is very friendly with excellent service.

We gladly stay again

If you want glitz and glamor this is not for you. However, what you get for this very low price is just outstanding, peaceful scenic location, clean room equipped with basic furniture but very comfortable mattresses, continental buffet included, on premise restaurant offers good choice of dishes, staff very welcoming. Anytime again👍

This is the end of the road. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Due to few guests the hostel was closed and they put me in the more luxurious hotel room instead. Nice breakfast.

No correct treatment

The breakfast

Hotel Pietralba with a good rating is closed. Booking is transferred to hotel Leonard which has a lower rating of only 7.7. It is explained as an upgrade because Leonard is more expensive but: The room was extremely tiny, half the size of the booking. Instead of room with a view, no view. Instead of twin bed, a single bed. Half a drawer (no more place) no hanging facilities. On all complaints, the reception answers: "I know" Using the good rate of one hotel, and give the customer a lower rated hotel in exchange, and a room with much less comfort is not correct. Just an excuse was not enough. Additional, the servant in the restaurant does not speak English nor German.

The hotel and the restaurant/bar are located in a pilgrimage site- there is a church that you can visit. The whole area is very pretty with mountains all around and peaceful at nighttime.

Le camere risultano molto piccole e, soprattutto, eccessivamente calde. Nonostante abbiamo spento completamente i termosifoni e dormito con le finestre aperte (nel mese di febbraio), la temperatura rimaneva comunque troppo alta, rendendo il riposo poco confortevole. I letti sono particolarmente rigidi e scomodi. Anche la pulizia del bagno non è risultata adeguata: i bordi della doccia presentavano evidenti residui di sporco, segno di una manutenzione non accurata. La colazione, inoltre, non appare gestita nel rispetto dei basilari criteri igienico-sanitari: gli alimenti erano esposti a libera presa, senza coperture protettive. Non è previsto un servizio di caffetteria; è disponibile solo una macchina automatica, con una qualità del prodotto erogato piuttosto bassa. Nel complesso, l’esperienza non è stata in linea con le aspettative.

Hotel immerso nella natura, lontano dal traffico. Tutto intorno montagne e pinete facili da raggiungere, camminate favolose nella neve. Hotel accogliente e pulito.
