A fabulous week skiing in the Porte du Soleil with Riverwood Lodge providing a superb base.

A stunning self catered chalet for our week in Morzine/Montriond. A real home……would definitely return again. Great facilities and lots of space for people to have their quiet time, or come together over dinner.

Brilliant place - location, comfort, cleanliness, views, amazing!

This place was absolutely perfect for us. It had an ideal blend of being very practical (all en-suites, sockets and lamps by every bed, storage, well equipped kitchen, etc) together with a lovely personal and homely feel thanks to the finer details with the beautiful decor. The location was brilliant, quickly able to get us to cycles/hikes/town/lakes. With the warmer weather we particularly enjoyed the outside area with generous seating, lounging area, BBQ and even a hot tub! I also noticed lots of ski storage and boot warmers so would love to come back in the winter. Big thank you to Gillian and David for being so welcoming and helpful during our stay.

Highly recommend Riverwood Lodge to anyone traveling to Morzine!

The property exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, clean and had incredible views. The location is a quick drive from town (lovely shops, restaurants, bars, etc.), the lake and plenty of beautiful hikes. We loved ending the evening in the hot tub overlooking the mountains!

Lovely chalet, perfect for our party of 14, rooms and public spaces were ideal.

Chalet was lovely with adequate space for our needs. Good facilities with ski and boot room and the hot tub was a nice touch. Bedroom were a good size, all en-suit and clean. Kitchen and dining area was good and really nice to have everyone sat round the one table for dinner.

There was nothing about the chalet we did not like, couple of teething issues, but nothing to impact our stay and the hosts were really responsive. Nothing to do with the property, but we ended up having to book taxis to the slopes in the morning as the bus service seemed a bit disjointed and not easily accessible on foot with ski's.

a cosy and comfortable chalet ideally located to enjoy all of the Porters du Soleil ski area

the location is perfectly suited for skiing in the Portes du Soleil area. A 10 minutes drive to Ardent and from there you can go anywhere in the PdS ski area or a 10 minutes drive to Les Gets. The chalet itself is cosy and comfortable. We were there with 10 adults and a toddler.

The kitchen cupboards were a bit of a mess. although we did not miss anything essential the kitchen (except for a grater) for people who love to cook a food processor would be nice.

Fantastic chalet for multiple families

We loved our stay in this very homey and cozy chalet, in a peaceful yet great location, great views, plentiful sleeping options...and a great jacuzzi to top it off! We will come again!

Pratique pour une fête de famille

L’authenticité du chalet et son emplacement et le fait que pour un anniversaire en famille chacun avait sa chambre et sa douche mais le lavabo n’était qu’un lave main

Nous avons du relaver l’intégralité de la vaisselle que nous avons utilisé excepté les assiettes, les vmc n’étaient pas nettoyés, les escaliers très dangereux, notre petit fils de 2 ans et demi est tombé dans l’escalier qui descendait ! La grille du barbecue n’était pas propre
