Appalling customer service

Convenient location. Modern property

Appalling customer service. Upon arrival we were charged 3 times more than booking.com advised for tourist tax. The staff Maeva.com were rude. Gave us the wrong key, no password for the door. We had such bad communication to get into the property. No instructions at all. Upon leaving, we followed instructions regarding emptying the bins, stripping the beds, cleaned the kitchen, put everything away tidily. Left it cleaner than we got it. Found out a few days later €250 euros had been deducted from my deposit. I have spent the last week contacting the property as to why they kept the deposit but all messages have been unanswered. Most appalling service I have ever experienced !!!

Practical but lack of service

5 minutes to the centre, fair apt. size, clean, ski room, close to ski lifts,modern equipped and practical for family, Central reception nice and willing to help.

Some details that can be improved : Customer service on site is not responsive out of opening hours. If you forget any detail you can be left in the outside with no room. When checking in outside the reception opening hours, you must have a functioning Internet or try calling customer service. I surprisingly received the code by email for collecting the keys from Avoriaz entrance just 1 hour before arriving, with no explanation where to pick it from. (Think about looking it after 15 travel hours...) The ski locker heater does not work. Not that easy approach with skies. (5 minutes up heel).

Great holiday - great location - totally incompetent apartment management

The apartment is lovely. Large, modern and well decorated.

We planned for a late arrival. I chased 4 times for instructions on how to collect the keys and was constantly promised a code for the lock safe. This finally arrived when we were mid-air on our flight to Geneva - but without the door code to the building. On arriving the code for the lock safe had expired (it was valid for 1 hour) and we were left outside at -15C for 2 hours trying to get someone to answer the phone and reset the code so that we could collect our keys. No apology, no explanation. They also said on multiple emails that checkout for short stays was 12:00 but forced us out of the apartment at 10:00 despite my son being injured and unable to ski. Shocking service all round from Maeva.

A great ski holiday in a great resort.

Avoriaz is a great resort. We really liked that it is pedestrian only and really easy to get around town. The location of the apartment was fantastic with easy ski in and ski out from the boot room. The lockers were great with boot warmers and plenty of rooms for ski equipment.

very spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, perfect location.

cleaning could have been improved. bathroom had an unusual smell (due to exposed area next to bath)

Poor service, nice resort, variety of restaurants

Location food

No information on how I was going to get the keys, who to contact during the stay and how to get luggage down the mountain. Very poor attention during the stay. Was even going up the mountain not knowing if we were going to get into our room.
