Airy, comfortable apartment in great location and friendly host.

We’d have loved a microwave and some wine glasses.

The rooms are all a very good size and were extremely clean. There is more than enough hanging space in the large wardrobes and also plenty of drawers. The location is good, just a short walk to the shops and bars, and the beach is about 200m away. The two balconies are small but fine for a couple of chairs and offer quiet views. The apartment has recently been refurbished throughout to a good standard and has new double-glazed windows and doors, bathrooms and a modern fitted kitchen. Good wifi and the smart TV's Netflix & Prime TV services worked well.

Whilst the bathrooms are quite large and the power showers are very good, the actual shower cubicles are far too small. Other minor disappointments: The sofa in the lounge is uncomfortable. No toilet roll holders, nowhere to put shampoos etc whilst in shower, no kettle, no basics for cooking - unless you count one spoonful of olive oil left in a bottle with a Best Before date of 2020. We don't expect a welcome hamper, but perhaps a couple of capsules for the Nespresso machine would have been a nice touch. Most of these niggles could be fixed without spending much.
