We were met promptly by our host when we arrived. He provided us with keys, tour of the apartment and offered us good suggestions of places to go / eat in the area. Very spacious and comfortable apartment. Two bathrooms was a bonus. The location was also excellent, with easy walking distance to train, beach and center.

The apartment is in a quiet area close to the centre / seafront in Levanto, and even with cases we walked down from the railway station in less than 15 minutes. Access for someone with knee troubles is made easy by a lift/elevator. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and has a small balcony with washing lines and a view towards olive groves. There are two supermarkets less than 5 minute's walk away. Levanto is lovely, with great scenery, history, plenty of places to eat out and the walking and cycling paved (but off-road) route to Bonassola and Framura.
