Amazing!

Wonderful apartments with stunning views. I had everything I needed for a week-long vacation. Climbing uphill from the embankment was not a problem for me, although it may be more difficult for people with disabilities. Mia is a very friendly and helpful hostess.

Room was clean, views of harbour are great, location isn’t great if walking back and forth from train.

Location is difficult if planning to walk to/from train station to visit other towns along the coast. Also quite steep climb from town up lots of steps. The apartment itself isn’t a “Villa”, it was essentially a studio apartment with a small kitchen. Nice place but small - there is a balcony too.

Beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful time staying here as a couple. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the old town with absolutely stunning views. It was the perfect base for exploring Menton. The owner was so lovely and accommodating, making us feel incredibly welcome from the start. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Menton - we’d happily stay here again!

Wonderful stay in Menton

Beautiful property, we had the smallest of the 3 apartments, but was ample for us as a couple, with everything there for you. Sun shade on the outer terrace was a must to help with the very hot temperatures along with the air conditioning. The property itself, as said previously, is a climb up from the old town, but you don't get the spectacular views without the climb, no pain, no gain!!! But in reality it's approximately a 10 minute walk down to the old town, so not too bad, but take your time on the way up. Mia herself was brilliant and a wonderful and lovely host, would always be at the end of a call or text if you needed her but was in no way intrusive of your stay. Anyone going to Menton, I would recommend staying here.

My partner and me spent 5 beautiful days in Menton in this lovely apartment. The host, Mia, kindly met all our requests and did everything to make our stay the best possible experience. I especially liked the view, spacious terrace and a good location. If you plan to travel around French Riviera, this is a place to stay. Highly recommended!

The panoramic views from the large balcony were stunning. having a reasonably well equipped kitchen was a bonus. my hist Mia was great as was her home made limoncello and marmalade

A really nice place to stay in what I think is the nicest town on the Cote d'azur

The location is as spectacular as the publicity. It was particularly nice being able to sit on the terrace and have supper looking out over the Bay. Our host directed us to the little path which went down from the flat into the town it looked as though, by chance, we were in the prettiest part off the Old Town. La traversée St Julien is a delightful pedestrianised street reminiscent of Italy which leads into a further pedestrianised area of bars, shops and restaurants. To have all this on our doorstep was more than we had expected. It goes without saying that a view like this comes at a price i.e. having to climb back up again but it's surprising how quickly you get used to it. After all, in Menton You're always either going up or coming down.

It was slightly awkward having to go through the second bedroom to the bathroom which I had not appreciated at time of booking but we got used to it. Kitchen facilities are a bit minimal but again in summer one doesn't do much cooking

Relaxing, quiet, comfortable, with a beautiful view!

My husband and I spent the majority of our honeymoon at Villa l'ensoleillée in Menton. We really loved it here, and we enjoyed our room - spacious and comfortable with a little kitchen as well so we could pick up food from the local market and enjoy a few meals on the patio. Mia gave us great restaurant recommendations and was a wonderful host. Very quiet property with a beautiful view - and an easy walk down the path into town or to the beach! I would recommend this Villa to anyone going to Menton and if we ever make it back we would definitely stay here again!

The property is located on the hillside in Menton with fabulous views of the old town & Les Sablettes beach in one direction and the coast & mountains towards Italy on the other. The private terrace is well equipped with a dining table and loungers. The hosts were extremely friendly & helpful. The accommodation is very comfortable.

There isn't really anything to dislike regarding the property. In terms of Menton it takes a few days to find your way round but once this is achieved you will realise it is an excellent base to explore the Cote D'Azur.

Simply amazing!

Amazing apartment with a very large terrace facing the ocean with a view from the old town of Menton to the Italian border. Took advantage of the kitchenette to make several of our meals and ate outside. Property has a back entrance to a common alleyway providing easy access to the old town and the beaches. Hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home!

It was such a magical stay! Everything about the place - location, view, amenities- was absolutely wonderful! We were waking up in fairytale each morning! Extremely warm welcome from host, comfy beds, spotlessly clean apartment, huge terrace with amazing views! We are family with two teenagers and everyone is just dreaming about coming back! Can’t beat a location-7 min walk- great beach, 10 min- all shops and market. We got very good recommendations and information about the area as well. Great view and walking distance to the center

Amazing location and welcoming hostess. We were greeted with homemade jam and limoncello. The view from one of the two rooms and the terrace is probably one of the best in Menton and it's only a short walk to many restaurants and the town center. Very comfy beds!

The description of the apartment says two bedrooms which is a bit misleading. In fact one of the two double beds stands in a room, which serves as kitchen and dining room as well and there's no lounge or at least a couch to sit comfortable in the evening.

Absolutely stunning

Fantastic location with exceptional view and good parking in the private villa hillside area looking out to the Ligurian Sea and scenic old town Menton from 1300s. Short 10 minute steep walk down ancient stone stairwells and scenic passageways to tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, cafés, open air meat, cheese, produce market and beach. Far enough away from the loud bustling streets and tourist hotels but close enough to the attractions. Excellent restaurants and marketplace. Very safe neighborhood.

Could use a rental handbook with travel tips (market locations, cafe and restaurant recommendations) and guidance on the use of appliances. Needs more firm and filled fluffy pillows. A higher quality coffee maker and small supply of coffee until we find the market.

Fantastic apartment with the best panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, the harbor and the old town of Menton.

A great and modern apartment, perfectly equipped with everything you need in one place and with the best view of Menton from the bed and from the terrace. Apartment was very clean, tidy with large beds and the best pillows for dreaming. Extremely helpful and kind hosts Mia and her husband Erik were always ready to help us with information or to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They welcomed us with home made citrus jam and limoncello. We recommend a stay in this location and hosts to everyone. If we could we would give 11! ❤️.Thank you Mia & Erik.
