The cuisine is refined yet authentic, showcasing Piedmontese traditions through fresh, carefully selected ingredients that reflect the richness of the region. More than just a place to stay, Locanda Fontanazza offers an experience that stays with you. A peaceful and elegant retreat in the heart of La Morra, and a place we would happily return to.

Everything!! Valentina and Marta were so very welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay memorable! Our room was very comfortable and the view was spectacular!! Breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant ( awarded many years by “Slow Food Movement) was the best we have experienced in the past month of our Italian travels!! Couldn’t imagine a more beautiful experience and hope to return!

Our holiday was just perfect at the Locanda Fontanazza in La Morra!

Location is amazing and perfect for an unforgettable holiday! Valentina and Mattia are wonderful people, welcoming and kind, just like the dearest aunt and uncle one might have. The room was spotless clean and comfortable and really nice designed, felt very cozy. The pool was perfect for the lazy hot afternoons and the view breathtaking. Breakfast tasted delicious, with all the local foods, and I never had such huge figs before. We also had dinner at the Osteria and everything was soooo good: the food, the wines, the view, the whole experience!

There was nothing not to like. Maybe only that we had to leave

One of the best places I have ever stayed! Very nice rooms, super clean and with the most beautiful view from the balcony. Fantastic breakfast with fresh bread and local specialities. Superb hosts, super welcoming and happy to share their knowledge of the Langhe area. Situated in the middle of the wineyards with just a few minutes to walk to a lot of great restaurants in La Morra, but the restaurant on site has excellent food as well. Will definetely be back. Thank you Valentina and Mattia!

One of my favorite places where I ever stayed

The hosts are super nice and make you feel at home immediately. The breakfast is delicious and only comprises local products. The rooms have a simple modern design and are spotlessly clean. The views from the balcony are scenic. Will definitely go back!

Locanda con vista spettacolare, cibo di ottimo livello, e simpatia dei gestori.

Indubbiamente la posizione panoramica con vista sulle langhe è davvero un plus; la nevicata notturna ha inoltre reso tutto "magico". I proprietari sono molto gentili e simpatici, particolare non sempre scontato. Inoltre la possibilità di cenare in un ristorante di buonissimo livello, senza uscire dalla struttura dopo una giornata in giro, fa molto piacere.

Perfetta location per un weekend nelle Langhe.

Location. Vista. Colazione buona e variegata, non super estesa ma non si può pretendere di più visto il basso numero di camere. Prodotti tutti locali e di qualità. Abbiamo approfittato del ristorante aperto a cena nel weekend e anche lì abbiamo potuto confermare la professionalità e le competenze della cucina e di Mattia in sala. Lui e Valentina gestiscono quel posto in maniera eccellente.

La nebbia, ma per quello c’è la Sicilia. Attenti alle policies. Da bravi sbadati non ci abbiamo fatto caso nel momento della prenotazione e ci ha spiazzati vedere quei 30 € schiaffati sul conto finale per il tardo check-in.

Il posto ideale per immergersi nelle meraviglie delle Langhe

La locanda e’ veramente molto bella e curata in ogni particolare. La posizione permette di godere di un panorama eccezionale, a pochi passi dal centro del paese. I proprietari sono molto gentili e simpatici. Il ristorante offre prodotti locali di alta qualità . Ci siamo veramente sentiti a casa.

Migliorerei l’insonorizzazione delle camere. Purtroppo si sentiva tutto dalla camera adiacente.

Helheten, ett fantastiskt boende med den vackraste utsikten man kan tänka sig. Härligt med en liten välskött pool. Värdarna Valentina och Mattias mycket trevliga. Har vi bott bättre någon gång, tveksamt. Mycket bra frukost, nybakat varje morgon, bröd och vacker foccia. Variation på nybakad kaka. Lokala ostar. Ett nöje att komma till frukosten varje morgon.

Sängarna som alltid i Italien något hårda. Något lyhört mellan rummen.
