The staff were incredibly friendly, and we were blown away by the beautiful surprise room upgrade. When my husband was injured (in the sea), the team supported us every step of the way — from first aid, hospital visits to daily check-ins. We truly felt cared for. We loved the resort so much that we extended our stay. Fantastic food and unforgettable sunsets — we hope to return one day!

I loved everything about this Property . So many beautiful memories of my stay during our summer holidays in August. Loved that we could rent cycle from hotel and ride around . The Beach infront of the hotel is so stunning . The Staff is so impeccable and knows anything that you ask. Also the shuttle ride to the city was bonus . Thankyou so much for having us & we cant wait to come back soon.

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations! The location is stunning with a beautiful beach, and the complimentary island trip was such a memorable touch. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. Our private pool was simply amazing, providing the perfect space to relax in total privacy. The room itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and very stylish. Every detail reflected comfort and quality. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly exceptional stay, and I will definitely return!

Where to even start?! 5 nights at Banyan Tree Krabi was like a dream that kept getting better and we never wanted to end. The hotel grounds and rooms are immaculate - with attention to detail in design, function, and aesthetic. The staff were beyond 5 star, each proudly going above and beyond to get to know you and ensure you experience the best of Krabi, the hotel, and Thailand. A very special shout out to P’Rem, our go-to for guest services, who gave true meaning to “the land of smiles”, always popping up to help us and exuding positivity. P’Sanai from Naga Restaurant is also a huge standout in our experience, by treating us as family with the warmest hospitality and consideration! Our time at Banyan Tree Krabi helped us make life long memories. Thank you to the entire team for making it happen. P.S If you’re contemplating whether to treat yourself - do it at Banyan Tree Krabi! Absolutely nothing!

the area is superb, but nature did it, not you! The spa is wonderful, the therapists are very good, everything related to the spa is great! We liked the Thai restaurant, the service was good, the food was tasty ! the rooms are not the worst, the bed is good, the towels are new, the terrace and view are great, but the furniture is old and dirty, the carpet is dirty, the dishes, trash cans, bathroom accessories are cheap and of unknown origin, as they were poured into some hotel containers the beach is not bad, there are better ones, but this one is ok

We didn't like almost everything! The whole impression was ruined by the disgusting breakfast, we've never seen such crap, complete unsanitary conditions! Super cheap products, ugly and disgusting looking dishes, they taste even worse than they look. The service is buffet style, but it corresponds to minus 100 stars, everything is dirty, old and cheap. the furniture all over the place is so dirty that it makes you sick, sun loungers, chairs, armchairs, everything is dirty with food, stains. The towels on the beach are just from the trash, torn old and with pieces of food. There's still a lot of disgusting stuff, I'm just too lazy to describe everything and waste my time, but I described a couple of details, it might be useful to someone if you go to Krabi, then choose the Ritz, it will be more comfortable

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Krabi! The hotel exceeded my expectations with its impeccable cleanliness and outstanding facilities. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and supportive, making them the nicest team I’ve ever encountered. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious Halal options, and the in-room dining experience was equally impressive. This hotel is perfect for families, and I can’t wait to return on my next trip to Krabi. Highly recommended!

Pure luxury ! A one night treat at the end of our holiday! Beautiful Suite with pool, large bathroom, daybed and stunning sea views ! Delicious buffet breakfast and they allowed us to extend use of our room til 3pm due to a late flight.

Top of the line amenities, great food and drinks, excellent staff and a great service.

From the moment my husband and I landed in Krabi, Banyan Tree had already started to show just how special our stay would be. A comfortable and luxurious van was ready for us at the airport, and the smooth ride set the tone for what turned out to be an extraordinary stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Freya, who made us feel instantly at home. Despite arriving late, just 15 minutes before restaurant closing she didn’t just check us in, she also made sure we could still have dinner by arranging a last minute booking at Saffron. The staff at Saffron welcomed us with genuine kindness and, even though it was closing time, encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our meal. The food was excellent, and that first evening was a beautiful introduction to Banyan Tree’s incredible hospitality. After dinner, we were taken to our villa by buggy. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with luxurious amenities, a great coffee machine, and a generously sized bathroom. But the highlight? Our private pool on the balcony with a breathtaking view of the Andaman Sea. It was pure bliss. The bed was so comfortable we slept like babies every night during our four night stay over Eid break. The next morning, since Freya was on a well deserved day off, we were looked after by Daria, who had clearly been briefed in detail about our late arrival. She made sure we didn’t miss out on any experiences and went above and beyond to show us around and take care of us. To our surprise and deep appreciation, she even gave us a hand painted souvenir at the end of our trip such a personal and thoughtful gesture that touched us both. Another standout during our stay was Guy, who, like the rest of the team, exemplified the kind of service that goes beyond expectations. The staff didn’t just assist us during our stay at the hotel, they helped us coordinate outside activities too.

Far from the center, not really much to do there.

The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and professional. The overall hospitality was outstanding. The food exceeded expectations — we didn’t feel the need to leave the resort during our 3-nights stay. I also highly recommend trying the spa experience, especially the Rainforest journey — it was truly relaxing and well worth it.

Villa H11 had a great pool privacy while i stayed in Villa H10 which offers partial pool privacy, which was acceptable but not 100%, but most of the other villas have pools that are fully exposed to the beach walkway, which didn’t suit my preference for more seclusion. Also, I personally prefer beds with headboards or those placed against a wall for better sleeping comfort.

‏This was our second stay at Banyan Tree Krabi and definitely not the last. Perfect for families — quiet, beautiful, and filled with thoughtful touches. The staff are professional and welcoming, and breakfast is simply excellent. Highly recommended for a peaceful family retreat!

The resort was simply superb. Great property, awesome staff, great facilities and the restaurants served succulent yummy Thai and other cuisines that included Indian and Italian cuisine too.

Banyan Tree Krabi is a truly picturesque escape — the villa I stayed in was absolutely stunning, with a private garden and pool that offered both luxury and seclusion. The resort’s location is unbeatable, nestled between lush rainforest and a peaceful beach, creating a serene ambience. Dining was a highlight, especially the Bird’s Nest restaurant with its unforgettable treetop setting, and the hilltop Saffron restaurant, which is accessible via a unique, scenic elevator ride. Communication was seamless through WhatsApp, making every request or query incredibly convenient. I also appreciated the thoughtful selection of complimentary activities offered by the resort and found the rainforest hydrotherapy experience especially rejuvenating.

While the resort impressed in many ways, there were some letdowns. The quality of housekeeping was inconsistent, which was surprising for a resort of this caliber. Breakfast felt uninspired and lacked the variety and flair expected from a luxury property. One concerning issue was the absence of a first aid kit on a third-party boat tour arranged through the hotel — an oversight that shouldn’t happen with a Banyan Tree-endorsed partner. Although the staff were courteous, their service lacked the polish and attentiveness you’d expect from a five-star resort. Lastly, while luxury often comes at a price, it felt exorbitantly overpriced

The breakfast is an absolute disaster, as well as all the restaurants in the hotel. It’s very disappointing as we are a family with a child and it made our day difficult trying to find options for meals. Also as a 5 star hotel be aware they don’t offer options of transfers from Phuket, the client needs to require it in advance and pay for it (not cheap at all!!!). Regarding the boat tours we were not informed of all the conditions and in one of them it was up to the staff member to reserve the time slot (!!!). The buggy inside the hotel is extremely slow also.

Gorgeous resort in paradise - truly idyllic location and perfectly kept. Airport transfer was very swift and luxurious. Spoilt for choice at breakfast, very hard to beat. Staff were so welcoming and always acknowledged us when we walked past. The rooms were spotless. The massages were out of this world. The private boat trip went very smoothly and was tailored to our needs. Special treatment for one of our birthdays was really thoughtful and appreciated. Saffron Restaurant was delicious and had a nice ambience.

Would love it if Banyan developed a consistent spice level across all restaurants! Sometimes we asked for medium and got mild, sometimes we asked for medium and got spicy! Its a small thing but would have made the eating experience even better!
