The location on Tubkaek beach is not bad

The hotel sits on a narrow strip of land leading downhill from the road to the beach with no territory to walk around. The pool is squeezed between two staircases leading from the beach to the main building. Catastrophically not enough sunbeds at the beach and around the pool. Only one restaurant with just average menu. Huge cockroach spotted on the tray with glasses in the breakfast restaurant. Very small gym with only basic equipment and very low ceiling thus not enough air for active exercises. Rooms quite worn out already.

It is not what we expected. Not good attitude from the staff. Too small and always something missing.

The location is not good. There are no bicycles as it is stated in the advertisement. When we asked to rent - we were told that the bikes are for maintenance. Same was with the shattel bus. The staff was not informed about the stuff in the resort and the announced offers. You have to be ready to hear - this meal/drink is over, we don’t have that, etc. Nobody was mailed the beach area. The swimming pool was not clean and the sun beds are not enough.

Superb

Staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was superb, with a fantsatic choice to choose from, good strong coffee. The beach and main resturant served a great choice of food Tai and International with themed nights. The beach was amazing perfect for swimming and strolling along day or evening. You can easily get a taxi (we used Bolt) whenver we wished to go roaming.

It was fine for us but beaware from the beach to our roomm was approximmately 130 steps, so if you have mobility issues not the place for you to stay.

Not worth it for more than a stop over

Cute little retreat on the beach

Was not the best beach, was lovely for a night or two but the tide always was out so I never swam. The decking was nice, as well as the classical instrumental xmas music they played. Menu was good choices but the stairs to and from the hotel to the beach would have been a pain if we stayed any longer than one night. Staff tried to give me the gym to change in on our final day before our flight but I noticed cameras and complained. I suggested I use the spa and they made arrangements. Reception tried handwriting my partners card details down on paper after we settled our bill, luckily he caught him and snatched his card back. I’d day stay in another location, overpriced not nice area, esp because I almost booked longer in this part but glad i didn’t.

Could have been better for the price

Very arranging Chef at the restaurant: I was sick and he was able to prepare some very light food for me during our 5 day stay.

The room was disappointing : it had no sea view although it was mentionnes on the reservation and it was facing the bar and a public noisy jacuzzi with kids playing/screaming . Not was we expected from a DeLuxe room. No help from manager (did not even showed up) to find a solution. Lot of stairs.

Lovely place

High luxury hotel in the heart of Tobkaak Beach in Krabi. Beautiful view to the sea and huge amazing rooms. The beach is quiet and not crowded and the hotel is very tranquil and beautiful. Full extraordinaire breakfast.

1. Prices around are too high (3,299 BHT for massage, it costs 600 in the city) 2. Restaurant variety and quality is not good enough 3. The hotel activities are poor. 4. Far away from the center and have nothing to offer around - this is why they need to improve the offering inside the hotel We loved the beach and the facilities but they could do better with the overall experience and pricing

Fantastic breakfast and relaxed beach luxury.

Breakfast buffet was great, beach proximity lovely, facilities, the walk along the beach, the room was spacious and the bath amazing. The pool was nice and there is loads of beds and beach chairs around the property and on the beach and poolside. We were met and orientation was good and we were able to check in early. All services we booked through the hotel were excellent - like car hire and taxis.

Our toilet got blocked - that wasn't great. There are loads of steps outside so not good for people with mobility issues. It is really far from the main lively areas which is good for one type of holiday but not if you want a nightlife and fun! It's brilliant for resort relaxation and family celebrations. Beautiful but a bit far out if you are looking for a lively holiday.

Too many stairs to get to the pool which was very small. Not enough sunbeds, and not enough umbrellas to protect from the sun. The few sunbeds available were immediately occupied and extremly close to eachother. Beach not cleaned as in neighbouring resorts. Restaurant and bar at the end of the stairs on the beach so only possibility to get something to eat and drink by going down all the stairs. Service in the restaurant and bar / pool was terrible - to non existant. Food was fish and chips etc. This is definately not a resort if you cannot climb stairs.

I’m a smoker and I understand the hotel is a no smoking zone I completely understand that I wouldn’t want to stay in a room where people could smoke But you could have a cigarette outside the hotel lobby and down by the beach next to the bar. Which was in a terrible location, you had to step off the decking surrounding the bar which was a big drop down onto a very unlevel surface made up of rocks which were quite sharp and very easy to twist your ankle, I actually cut my foot on one occasion. Walking past neighbouring hotels you could see smoking areas with seating and undercover. I know smoking is looked down on these days but people still smoke so to have nicer area to sit or stand would be good

Chef Nikorn was a cherry on the cake.He went out of the way to make us comfortable even with our dietary restrictions( as we are family of 6 & vegetarian). Fallen in love with Thailand because of Amari Vogue. Manager Tukpa & Noah for their hospitality & making us feel at home. Love the property Can't wait to visit again

The hotel is right on the beach. The restaurant has a beautiful view by the beach. Swimming pools are good too. Location is about 25-30min to the Ao Nang night market, which is good.

Rooms were very comfortable, beds as well. it is beach front. Staff are friendly and supportive. Breakfast. The bar offer happy hour 50% of cocktails and having few drinks during sunset it's heaven.

The pool is much smaller than the pictures. Really small pool by resort standard. There are many stairs to go up and down but it's not too bad.

Incredible stay at Amari Vogue!

Loved everything! No complaints. Facilities were excellent, beds super comfortable, location gorgeous. Booked a half day snorkeling trip through the hotel and it was great. Beach is beautiful. Onsite restaurant was reasonably priced and decent food. I would return in a heartbeat!

Fabulous resort - great beach location

Fantastic resort on the Tubkaek beach. Great for families. Very good breakfast, lots of variation and something for most palates. Rooms were great, not spotless, but clean and nicely decorated. General high quality throughout. Expensive food and drinks in beach bar and beach restaurant, but not something that should surprise really.

A bit away from everything. Not s problem, but nearby Khlong Mueng is not really a great place to walk around looking for restaurants as an alternative to the expensive restaurants along Tubkaek beach.

The location, was further than expected. Nearest 7 Eleven is about 7-10 mins drive. A 30 minutes drive to other areas; including Aonang Beach and main areas. Would be a good option to rent a bike, if you are familiar with riding a motorcycle and have valid driving license.

The hotel is beautiful and I can't tell why it is a 4 star only, maybe the amount of stairs. If you are unfit or elderly this would be a difficult place to stay. However the rooms were beautful and very clean. The bar overlooked the beach as did the restaurant, the food and drinks were exceptional if a little pricey. There was a foot pit to wash your feet when stepping in from the beach to the hotel, towels were always available, staff were helpful and it was a fantastic stay. Breakfast was amazing especially the cold lattes.

Excellent stay with a magnificent view

My family and I book a 2-bedroom villa at Amari Vogue. Before booking, I have contacted the hotel to ask some questions about the accommodation and they were very responsive. Our wonderful experience started from the airport transfer where Mr Yusob picked us up. He was friendly and warmth, we felt welcomed right from the start. He shared great tips along the journey to the hotel and made it seem like it was a mini-tour by itself! We were checked in promptly upon arrival and were impressed by the size, cleanliness and design of our villa! It was better than the website pictures and a stone-throw away from the beach. The hotel is well maintained and has many places for Instagram-worthy shots. We loved that the hotel is environmentally-friendly as they used glass bottles for still water and refillable toiletries. The hotel is about 20-25 min away from the main town. You can get a local taxi between 300-500 baht from the hotel or just outside the hotel. Highly recommend Amari Vogue if you are in Krabi. You will be impressed by the rooms and the view of the beach and islands.

A beautiful hotel, be careful with the 'hackers'

The restaurant has very delicious food, high compliments. The spa was excellent The sunset and view of the beach is lovely especially over dinner time. When the tide goes out you can have a lovley walk on the beach. The staff member that organises the excursions was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time island hopping and I got a pretty nasty coral scratch which she helped me to clean and dress with great care.

In summary, a truly wonderful hotel stay was ruined by fraud. The hotel was apparently 'hacked' and over $2.6kUSD was deducted from my account. Someone 'pretending' to be from the hotel contacted me via the booking.com app regarding card verification but in the end the hotel claimed it was a hack. The manager at Amari Vigue gave us a free room upgrade but did not offer any help for dealing with booking.com. Unfortunately, booking.com also do not offer any help for this. I have nobody to help me recoup my money and obviously Amari Vogue has security issues or someone from within doing this. I cannot believe nobody cares. Also, the room was beautiful but truly FULL of mosquitoes. I was bitten more in the room than outside.
