Location was literally 6 minutes from where I needed to be

Pool hours.I feel the pool should be 24 hours

Good facility, clean, plus breakfast which we never had the chance to use

Floors in the room looked dirty

1. This is a great place to stay. 2. Staff was friendly and helpful. 3. Everything is very clean. Rooms are comfortable and big. I had a larger room than some of the people I was with. I walked into the room and just kept saying "wow". Bathroom was large and walk-in shower was very nice. Kitchenette and sitting area were nice. Curtain between beds and sitting area is a nice touch. Beds are comfortable and the pillows were amazing - I wanted to buy one to take home. My room faced the highway, so there was some noise from the traffic, but nothing that kept me awake (and I'm a very light sleeper who is bothered by noises). It was more like white noise. The hotel itself was very quiet - No noise at all from other guests or hallways. No early morning cleaning staff talking in the hall and waking me up like at some other hotels I've stayed at. 4. Fire pit and sitting area outside are a really nice touch when traveling with family/friends. We enjoyed it a lot. 5. Coffee was good and always available. 6. There are very nice nature parks just a few mins away with great walking trails. 7. Two steak houses and a Chinese restaurant within easy walking distance.

Areas to Improve 1. BIG problem with cigarette smoke by hotel entrance and fire pit. By late afternoon and much of the evening, it was impossible to enter the front doors without breathing cigarette smoke. (People were not trying to be rude - there is just not a comfortable place for them to smoke). I had to pull my inhaler out for the first time in almost a year. Can't you provide a smoking area? Or at least make it safe for someone with breathing problems to enter your front door? There is an area in the back with grills, but the noise from the highway means it's not a good place to sit. 2. The egg and meat served for breakfast was nasty. I've had much better at lower rated hotels. Coffee was good. Waffles and yogurt were yummy but too much sugar/carbs for me, especially in AM. 3. The fire pit is a REALLY nice touch. But when the fire is lit, there is a very annoying high pitch whistle that drove all of us crazy. Maybe from the fan? Also, much of the time there were people smoking in that area. 4. The hotel is new and clean, so the untrimmed bushes that stuck out into the sidewalks stood out in contrast. -1 on value because I'm cheap and am not used to paying that much for a hotel and breakfast needs work. -1 on facilities because smokers have nowhere to go where they don't impact everyone else I stayed here because this is where my friends were staying. and I would stay again if with friends. But the new Comfort Inn that is across the road probably would be a better choice for me because of price, because it would not have the noise fromI-75 and because I never saw smokers standing out front.
