Monica was very nice to work with. The house is simply cute. We selected because we have 3 dogs-and they LOVED it! The house is simple, clean, close to attractions (art district, downtown Ocala, Silver Springs) and even has a piano that my musical son enjoyed. We experienced a local resident Peacock while there-apparently comes annually. Very cool!

Close to Silver Springs, downtown, Ross and Bealls. Easy access to roads leading to Rainbow Springs, Whispering Oaks Winery and Hiatus Brewing.
Dinner downtown at Harry's (took our dog, sat outside) and La Cuisine (only place our dog didn't go) were excellent and a lot of fun.
The art show on the downtown square was packed. A lot to see.
I cannot emphasize enough how convenient the location was. 10 minutes to downtown. 10 minutes to Silver Springs. Close to Publix for groceries. Almost any other neighborhood would have been loaded with traffic.
The home is quite comfortable with 2 bedrooms. Some nice broken-in couches to relax on.
A short block to walk the dog around. A huge back-yard well-fenced. Rin Tin Tin was one neighbor and a very friendly black dog in the other yard behind the house.
There -is- a washer and (I believe) a dryer, but they are in the shed behind the house, which we never looked into.
The house was very quiet.
We're on a month-long road trip and this was by far the best place for the dog. For people, maybe it could have been fancier, but not by much; I probably wouldn't mention it were it not for some of the other reviews.
We'd stay here again.

I was disappointed in this property. The place is a little run down but the two biggest issues was that the back door leading to the back yard had half the screen missing so frogs and lizards were entering the house because there was a gap in the wood door. We stuffed it with plastic bags which solved the problem but refused to go in the back yard to the laundry which appeared to be housed in a small shed so obviously could not do any laundry. The other huge issue was the sewer smell coming from the bathroom which got so overwhelming especially after it rained that we literally had to put towels over our faces to use the bathroom. There were other small issues but I'm a very adaptable person so no need to mention. I did speak with the owner and advised her that although these were not quick fixes I wanted her to be aware for any future renters. She wasn't very receptive so my guess is the issues won't be corrected. In any case I would steer clear of this rental, there are many more out there for the same price which are much better quality.
