About this house rental
Kick-back, literally, on a comfy leather sofa. Read a steamy novel in an inviting nook. Play boardgames on an oversized farm table. Tell scary stories around a blazing fire pit. And have sweet dreams atop a comfy, queen-sized Purple mattress!
This home was built in the 1940s and has both the charm and quirks of a historic home. Like any older home, it has aged charm most guests appreciate. It's quaint, cute and cozy, furnished with vintage items, some of which reflect decades of enjoyment (our fabulous farm table, for example). We appreciate one-of-a-kind treasures and have intentionally chosen the furnishings in this home to stand out from cookie-cutter homes, something most of our guests have appreciated and commented on. Our 1948 home, like the historic homes surrounding it, has been gently loved and cared for, with some elements having been thoughtfully updated and others having been preserved to respect the integrity of the era in which she was crafted.
This little cutie has two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen-sized bed. You'll LOVE the Purple Brand mattress. So, so cozy. This bedroom is also equipped with a 43" Samsung TV so you can enjoy a lazy day in bed.
The back bedroom has a basic twin-sized daybed with a pull out, twin-size trundle bed – so it sleeps two, but separately or side-by-side. There are extra blankets and throws as well.
Both rooms have a full-sized mirror and spacious closet, as well as remote-controlled ceiling fans.
The bathroom is small but offers most of the amenities you might need throughout your stay. It is equipped with a shower/tub combo which requires a step-over and in.
The house has central air & heat and the smart thermostat is in the hallway.
