Villas Mar e Brisa

Location was great, only 15 minutes walk to beach 7 3 great beach bars/restaurants. There was also a brilliant bar that had live music on some nights, a sports bar, 2 Italian restaurants and a couple of cafes that sold amazing pastries. We also had use of a large pool in the complex. The villa was spacious and had a lovely big pool. It was well equipped and the outside furniture was good. The beds were comfy. We were very lucky that we were able to access the villa early as we had an early flight so this was great. I would stay here again.

There were a number of maintenance issues in the villa but mainly outside. There were a number of slats missing from the shutters, some of these had just been thrown in the garden. The area around the outside table & BBQ needs jet washing it was really grubby. The pool table had bits that had dropped off and were just laid on the floor. The pool had scum marks around it which wouldn't come off as it had built up over time. I don't think the villa had been used for a couple of weeks before us so it should have been checked before we moved in. The pool was full of leaves & tissues that had probably blown in. We had to wipe the sunbeds down as they had bird poop on them. The garden had fake grass which i don't have problem with but there were weeds all the way round poking through. The hose pipe had just been thrown on the grass instead of being put back on the reel. Just small things that wouldn't take a lot to fix to make it a better experience. Having said all this i would stay here again especially for the location.

Very good location, few supermarkets was around. The beach is a few minutes away 3-4 minutes by car and 10-15 minutes walking.

Hot water runs out quickly and you have to wait a few more hours before getting a shower. 😭😭 We reported the situation to the owner, unfortunately he did nothing. The swimming pool wasn't usable ( no clean ).

A nice roomy villa, great facilities, nice style and comfortable. Good aircon. Number of rooms with en suite.

Functional interior with clean rooms, bedding, towels and pool towels.

The pool table and awning was broken which were two of the reasons we chose the property. The swimming pool itself has seen better days is definitely in need of some maintenance. I also found it odd there were no welcome packs outlining where the main bins were for rubbish or local trusted amenities. There were basic cleaning items such as dishwasher tablets but not washing up liquid, anti bacterial spray or even tea coffee milk or water on arrival which I thought would have made the experience so much better. I felt the price paid should reflect all of the above so it did not meet expectations in that regard
