Reception available, well secured by A gate. Beautiful compound in the best location. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was given an upgrade to a villa which was fantastic with a great vieuw. Will definately visit again. Loved it!

We spent two weeks at Villas Rufino with our two teenage daughters and loved almost everything about it. The location is superb: a quiet, safe neighbourhood in Galé/Sesmarias, yet within a short drive of some of the best beaches on the coast and surrounded by excellent restaurants within walking or minutes’ distance.
• Brilliant location — peaceful but close to everything
• Big, great pool that never felt overcrowded
• Friendly, helpful staff
• Lovely community atmosphere — our teenage daughters made plenty of friends, which made the holiday for them
• Cleaning almost every day, which is rare and very appreciated
A genuinely relaxing, family-friendly base. We’d recommend it to anyone travelling with kids.
No washing machine in the units (there’s a paid laundry service, and a laundromat a short drive away, but worth knowing for a longer stay)
The nearest beach collects seaweed and has rocky access — but the excellent Praia da Galé is only a few minutes away by car
