Was lovely property to rent for week for two people/couple. Away from town but easy access to all towns and coastal areas by car or public services. Very nice pub next door, calm and quiet ar all times. Would return again.

I rarely write reviews as we stay in a lot of places. On the positive side this property was very clean and there was a welcome pack of milk butter bread (albeit with a best before date of the day before our stay) tea coffee etc. It had been rather odd to book as had an email to say owner hadn't responded so booking failed and then email received from a holiday company. This company then also send me an invoice several days later for a lesser amount even though prepaid and as yet haven't acknowledged that invoice sent in error. What we didn't know was that the pub closed as we got there on the Sunday and didn't open again till we left on the Wednesday. So our idea of eating in a pub garden on site went out of the window. Access to the rear carpark and garden was also closed off. I did message the owner to ask how we exited it to be told she had left her phone at a friend's and that's why she hadn't replied but no answer to the question. However there is a great pub nearby at Staple and a wonderful farmshop called Gibson's nearby. And then the road, we shut the windows and to be fair the property was cool despite the temperature being around 30 but the noise was very loud and constant, enough that we considered leaving on the Tuesday.
