Endeavour Returns Holiday Apartment

Great location. Just a few minutes' walk to town centre and attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very bright and airy. Very comfy bed and furniture. The entrance area was very welcoming. Lovely decor. Tea, coffee, sugar and a pack of chocolate biscuits were provided for us. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs but they weren't steep.

Nothing. It was perfect for our 3 night stay.

I loved the location. A modern apartment in a traditional 'Guest House' feel, in a nice quiet neighbourhood. It was great to be able to have a private pathway to the pavement. And the uninterrupted close view of Whitby Abbey was breathtaking to see every morning. I loved the fact that I could open the window door to the living room or bedroom whenever I wanted to see the Abbey from indoors. I loved the cosy, compact and manageable size of the apartment. Yet, it was spacious. The eletric storage heaters/radiators quickly produced a warm home on the coldest of nights. Prime Video was already subscribed to, which provided endless TV to watch. The coast cliff view was just 5 minutes out of the door and town was 10 minutes in the other direction. I had some lovely walks.

The water heater was worse than stated. It was less than a shallow bath. I expected a full bath of water on demand. My previous apartment managed it.

Very cosy and beautiful property with perfect facilities and central location to all the attractions of Whitby

The stairs were a bit of a struggle but worth the climb

Communal areas of property were very poor and very off putting. Front door frequently left unlocked
