This location has some of the most pristine and lightly visited beaches on the island – it’s just a short 3 to 4 minute walk to Sugar Beach. 5 miles of beautiful, sandy, secluded beach. Or, walk directly to a small hidden beach right in front of the complex.
This is the best kept secret on Maui!
Our condo is direct oceanfront! Maalaea village is a gem with its central location and its fantastic trade winds. They provide a cooling breeze that keeps the temperatures just right. We also have a timer controlled A/C just in case the cross breeze in the unit isn't enough for you. There are ceiling fans in every room as well.
From the lanai, gaze out and watch the sunrise over Haleakala (House of the Sun), the long dormant 10,000 foot volcano. Watch green sea turtles bobbing up for air and rolling in the surf, even sunning themselves on the beach. In the winter months (Nov-April) you will have a front row seat to breaching whales as they come back to the islands to give birth and nurse their young in the warm Hawaiian waters. In the summer months during a good south swell, you can watch surfers on the legendary surf break “Freight Trains”, the world’s fastest surfable wave.
Beautifully landscaped grounds with a heated pool will make any stress you have brought with you melt away. Slip into to the pool and enjoy the ocean view while you relax in the Maui sun. This is also the only complex in Maalaea with a Jacuzzi.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender and all of the other essential supplies to comfortably enjoy cooking and eating in. (Even a Keurig for you coffee lovers!)There is also a great BBQ area oceanfront so you can enjoy the view while you cook.
Our Master Suite has a king-sized bed with a brand new mattress.
Our bathroom is beautifully tiled with a clean updated and stylish look. 100% cotton bath towels and hand towels are of course provided.
Enjoy a meal on the private lanai or just sit out and enjoy the view
A 5 minute walk takes you to Maalaea Harbor where you will find a small grocery store, deli, craft market, restaurants and the Maui Ocean Center (Maui’s #1 tourist attraction), the Pacific Whale Foundation, miniature golf, shopping and most of the ocean activities available on Maui (sunset dinner cruises, deep sea fishing, snorkeling tours & whale watching).
Centrally located Maalaea, makes getting anywhere on the island easy. 15 minutes from the airport, a 5-minute drive south and you are in the long village of Kihei and a bit further, the resorts of Wailea. You couldn’t be in a better location to explore all Maui has to offer.

We absolutely loved staying at this place…and you will too. It had everything you could possibly want for an amazing vacation in Maui. Breakfast every morning on the lenai was a dream! Cooking meals was super easy and convenient. Kitchen had everything you need. It also had some other things that were so helpful - bandaids, sunscreen, aloe for your sunburn, coolers and ice packs for the beach. Speaking of the beach it had snorkel gear for four people, two boogie boards, 4 beach towels, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and pool noodles. So much fun!!! The apartment was easy to cool by opening the sliding door in the living room and the windows in the bedroom. We were there when it was 86 degrees during the day and it was no issue. The condo has a window ac unit as well and multiple fans to blow cool air around. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I slept great. We used the hot tub at the property each night and then checked out the turtles on the small beach. Saw turtles there each night of our stay. The apartment is centrally located in Maui so no area is a long drive. We visited spots all over and did not spend lots of time in the car getting around. It’s also super quiet there at night. Just very relaxing. A five minute walk down the road to shops, dining, an aquarium, and the harbor that does jet ski rentals and boat and snorkel tours. Gail the host was very responsive and easy to work with. It was so hard to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

This is an excellent unit. So well appointed and nicely done! Bright and cheery, comfortable and updated. It was a great choice for a wonderful vacation!

Pros: location was great, great quality kitchen, great bed,cons: AC is too small or not working correctly, contacted owner but as far as I know it was not corrected. sleeping sometimes was clammy and sticky with little or no air. we were told to open windows and deck door and use fans. that does not work. also umbrella and beach chairs are broken, we had to rent some for the week
