Fab place good for town centre

Bare minimum provision of toiletries,cleaning products & waste bins. e.g. 1 full toilet roll provided for 3 guests; only 1 waste bin provided (& no bathroom cleaning products provided) between 2 bathrooms & 2 bedrooms; No locks on bathroom doors; No hooks or shelves in bathrooms for own wash bags, clothes etc; No hooks to hang raincoats/coats in hallway; No complimentary sugar in kitchen.

Spacious and clean - enough space for 4 people to stay comfortably.

Everything was really nice. It would have been nice to get two full rolls of toilet paper. There were only two half rolls when we arrived.

It was clean and comfortable

If i had to say a negative about the apartment it would be the pillows, they are really rubbish. There are only two parking spaces which is a real downside but you can park outside (if theres a space) from 6:30pm till 8am.

Location is great. We were at an event at Parr Hall and was really convenient (3min walk). Apartment was clean, kitchen well equipped. Good communication.

Downsides: we booked for 5 people. After booking was informed that it was an extra £25 for the bed to be set up for person #5. Only 4 mugs, only 4 seats at dining room table - really not set up for 5 people (wasn’t an issue for us as group reduced). Apartment is tired and could do with a good refresh. Only parking for 2 cars for all 8 apartments. However if I was at an event in the area again I would stay again.

Such an interesting old church building. Carefully designed apartments. The stained glass windows in the bedroom are stunning. Slept so well here. A great half way spot between London and Glasgow, the living room and table made it a great spot to spend a few days working on a project with a colleague.

Absolutely dreadful experience.

The boiler broke and they didn't fix it for 3days There was a handy man who had a go at me and accused me of leaving the front door open (he was changing the locks) I didn't .. the hallway smelled of cannabis. There is no parking. The place was clean, but dusty spindles and paintwork, marked walls and chipped paintwork.

Cute little place

This was a really cute apartment and it was cool to think it used to be a church. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were quite lumpy so would advise to take own pillows. It was all very clean.

Lumpy pillows, bath was super small but there are two showers so wasn't a major thing. Did feel a little dark with restricted views but I guess that's because of the nature of the conversion.

Needs mirrors in the bedrooms for hair, makeup, etc. Grab rails and/or non slip mat in shower over bath would avoid fall risk especially for older guests.

parking is tight although I booked for 5 people and paid the quoted cost, I was then told that morning i needed to pay extra for a sofa bed to be made up, as the room only slept 4, although I booked for 5.

Great value in a great location for Central Warrington. Aparment is starting to look a little tired

Excellent Location Well equipped Well presented - Towels for everyone and basic toiletries were appreciated. Very quiet Super hot shower Host responded quickly and patiently when called

Mostly minor things: Shower grouting needs replacing Shower tap was damaged (not broken - worked perfectly OK) Damp/mould starting to show from bedroom window sill Light hanging from bedroom ceiling. TV was smallish and none of the Apps worked or could be updated.

I liked the communication which was very well

The rooms were so small and dinghy, the beds were very hard and not comfortable. The front room was like a match box. When I booked a room for the following day (or so I thought) I’d done the Sunday and not the Saturday, the host wouldn’t refund me my money on the room which wasn’t ideal at all. Could have easily been resolved and refunded. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again in future I’d rather book a local hotel next time.

Cheap, unclean, only stay if there's no other option.

Was in a quiet area, and close to the shopping centre. Alma coffee/ cafe nearby was nice.

Even though we paid in full, we still had to pay an additional £150 deposit through a third party which felt like a scam. We have been told this refund has been processed, but there is no proof or invoice. We didn't get the codes for entry until we called them and pressed for them 15 minutes before arrival, though they reassured us they were automatically sent they couldn't tell us when apart from that it would be before check in at 3pm. The property was really unclean and could do with a serious update. The walls had lots of scrapes and marks, the furniture looked cheap and like it was going to fall apart. There was one pillow per person. The blinds in the roof windows were cheap and folded when pulling down at night time. There was dust and cobwebs, unclean bathroom, the toilet in the ensuite didn't flush properly, extractor fans didn't work, there wasn't a seal on the shower screen over the bathroom so water leaked everywhere, and the place had a funny smell. It wasn't great at all.

Handy appartment in Warrington

Well equipped and smartly presented.

It was not clear that appartment was over 3 floors - quite a hike up the stairs. Also seating only really for 4 people and not 5 as per our booking.

Okish place at an ok price. Some things would need to change for us to stay there again.

Location was good and the price was pretty decent for our family.

Beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. We didn’t have hot water for a few days and tried resetting the boiler. Finally had to help to get it fixed. Also, WiFi was not very good. Didn’t work on top floor. People were smoking weed in the building and it stuck up the whole place. Wasn’t pleased about having to discuss that with the kids.

Flat ok but a lot of external issues

The flat is ok, reasonably comfortable and clean

Parking is horrible, it really should be made clear. It is listed as having parking, you won’t get a space. You can park in the street over night but have to move the car at 8 am. The time I did get space in the morning someone blocked me in. The area where the flat is is pretty rough too. The security is very bad, to external doors are always left open and there are people hanging around a lot.

Great location and kitchen/lounge area well equipped.

In Apartment 6 where we stayed the downstairs en-suite bathroom smelt of serious damp. It was pretty pungent and because it was next to the bedroom it did affect the experience. Also winter duvets in summer are not ideal.

Biggest problem was with booking.com giving us information required to gain entry to the property. After booking with booking.com. we recieved message stating security deposit was required to gain it. Nothinhg mentioned before booking.about deposit. After many hours on phone and messaging finally got to speak to a real person who managed to get the info required.At the tim I was very busy trying to arrange all party foods to take with us to the venue in Warrington which was reason for our rental.. Informed deposit would automatically go to my account 5 to 7 days after and I would recieve message. stating monies repaid. Not heard anything as yet from Booking .com.

Booking.com should let people know when they decide on a booking that security/ damage property deposits arr required. Save a great deal of stress and anxiety to people. Life is hard Booking .com made it harder.

Although it was made very clear before booking it was non refundable booking, it was not made very clear (only when receiving booking confirmation email) another £150 is required for any damage that may occur which may not be credited back for 7 days this is not good practice

Location was great, easy to get too. Perfect for a base to stay . The owners were good at responding.

Wasn't cleaned to a high standard. Lots of cobwebs not cleaned behind stuff. . Could do with a coat of paint to brighten and fresh it up. But that's all superficial.

Still better than a hotel room

The place is accessible. Close to the train station and close to the town center. The apartment is suitable for us tourists who will only just sleep there. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets, is already a plus point. Sara responds to emails as fast as she can.

Upon arrival to the apartment it looks tired and not thoroughly clean. They also ask for a security deposit to cover any damages,however there are obvious signs of damage as well as repairs needed. A little bit of a makeover and this place would score highly.

Great stay in Warrington!

The location was perfect, close to the town centre but still a distance away to be quiet. The flat itself was lovely, well kept and clean.

The only issue was the codes for the doors, sometimes it took a while to get into the property.

Fabulous Host and Apartment

Everything you could possibly need for your stay. Loved that there is 1 double bedroom with en-suite and other double had use of the main bathroom so both my friend and I had a bathroom to ourselves. We booked this apartment last minute ( less than 15 minutes we had all the information we needed and in the apartment straight away) the host was exceptional and very responsive to phone calls and messages.
