I was at an event at the hotel, my first time at the hotel. The bedroom was nice & warm, beds + linen nice & clean.
We had an evening meal & it was lovely also afternoon tea the next day which wasn't brilliant, sandwiches not to everyone's taste with garlic butter used in egg sandwich, smoked salmon sandwiches were mostly left untouched on our table of 9, scones and sweet treats were nice. I especially liked the elderflower spriter.
Carpet in bedroom could do with cleaning in bedroom, bathroom ok but grouting needs redoing as it's discoloured & let's the bathroom down.

Location. Previous experiences at the hotel. Value for money. Some improvements to bar/dining area.
Shower didn’t work properly. Bed was not well made up - duvet wasn’t inside duvet cover at the bottom. No spare roll of toilet paper. Breakfast not as good as previously. Machine for tea instead of freshly made pot and same for toast. Only one egg for full English breakfast.
