Wild Lake Side

Breakfast was provided for the safari in the form of a packed lunch, and next morning omelette and toast. Both were fine. Bhagya and her husband looked after us very well, they were polite, friendly and professional. The room matched the environment very well, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the evening after the safari. The whole property is well maintained with a simple restaurant area set a nice garden with plenty of wildlife. Very peaceful. We didn't book our safari with the property but I think we would have had just as good a safari experience if we had.

We had an amazing stay at Wild Lake Side. The cabins by the river were beautiful and peaceful, and the whole setting felt magical—especially watching fireflies at night and birds during the day. Everything was very well organised, with activities thoughtfully planned and great value for the price. A truly memorable and relaxing experience, highly recommended.

A wonderful place to stay! The people are so hospitable and helpful. The food is amazing! They even arranged a taxi for us from Colombo Airport. They also took care of everything for the safari tour, including the driver and a delicious breakfast and lunch. It was a truly special experience in such a unique place! The cottage is very cozy, clean, and fully equipped. Highly recommended for everyone!! We also found Udawalawe National Park to be a truly amazing experience, seeing so many elephants in such beautiful natural surroundings!
