We stayed here for two nights and had a mixed experience. The property itself has a lovely jungle/nature-resort atmosphere. Surrounded by greenery, birds chirping and plenty of natural surroundings, it was peaceful and relaxing. The views were pleasant, and we genuinely enjoyed being immersed in nature. The pool was also very nice and clean, and we spent quite a bit of time there during our stay. The biggest concern, however, was cleanliness and room maintenance. On our first day, we noticed spider webs inside the room that had clearly not been cleaned. Unfortunately, we also encountered cockroaches and bed bugs, and, quite unexpectedly, even found a frog in the bathroom commode (this is because they have an open washroom, so it's just that way probably!!). These were obviously not things we expected to encounter during our stay and made the first night extremely uncomfortable. The good part is that the staff were extremely kind and responsive when we brought these issues to their attention. They took our concerns seriously and moved us to another room, which was considerably better and much more comfortable. We really appreciated the effort they made to ensure that we did not leave completely disappointed. The manager was also good and accommodating throughout our interaction. There were a few other maintenance issues as well — for example, the window blinds weren't functioning properly for the doors that were opening towards the river view, and we felt that the property could benefit from some additional amenities and general upkeep. The restaurant food was genuinely tasty, although we felt that the prices were on the higher side for this type of property. Overall, what stood out most was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was warm, polite and genuinely helpful, and their willingness to address our concerns made a significant difference to our experience. I think this property has a lot of potential because the location, natural surroundings, atmosphere and staff are all wonderful. With more consistent housekeeping, better pest control and some attention to room maintenance, it could be a fantastic nature getaway. A beautiful and peaceful setting with genuinely lovely staff, but cleanliness and maintenance definitely need improvement.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Location is good and staff is very helpful and kind. The pool was very nice. The room had cold AC and hot water however the room was rather dirty. Hairs and what looked like mouse droppings on the sheets. The bed was comfortable. The TV did not plug in and the room only had type D outlets but they provided one adapter. We booked the safari through them which was good, but I recommend only doing a half day and staying one night.

The safari booked through hotel was very good. The manager was friendly and helpful but the service was very slow and food not good.
